Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack - Card 2

Hi everyone, sharing another of my projects using the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack.  The Memories & More Card Packs are designed for memory keeping, however they are also perfect to make cards with.

This card uses one of the floral patterned 3" x 4" cards which I have matted on to a piece of Basic Black Cardstock. I have also used a strip of patterned paper from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper pack, matted on a piece of Basic Black Cardstock and adhered behind the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card.  The sentiment is from the sticker sheets from the Card Pack.  I tapped the back of the sticker with the Embossing Buddy, this takes away the sticky backing.  I then adhered this to two die cut labels from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies using Dimensionals.

Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper - Day 11

Hi everyone, welcome to Day 11 of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper projects.

I have chosen this piece of patterned paper for today's cards.

I have used the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set along with the Poinsettia Dies, Stitched So Sweetly Dies and Ornate Frame Dies.

The card base is Whisper White Thick cardstock.  The patterned paper from the Feels Like Frost Designer Series paper is matted onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock cut at 5.5cm x 14.8cm (or 2 1/4" x 5 1/2") and then adhered to the card front.

The Basic Black Stitched Scalloped Rectangle is cut using the largest die in Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  A piece of Whisper White cardstock was cut at 9.2cm x 6cm (or 3 5/8" x 2 3/8") and then embossed using the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.

The poinsettia and foliage were cut using the Poinsettia Dies.  The sentiment was white heat embossed on a piece of Basic Black cardstock before being cut using the die from the Ornate Frames Dies.  Some of the Wonderful Gems were added to finish the card front.

Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper - Day 10

Hi everyone, welcome to Day 10 of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper projects.

I have chosen this piece of patterned paper for today's cards.

The stamp set I have used is Perfectly Plaid along with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

You get two cards from the one piece of patterned paper from the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Pack.  This is 8 of these cards from the 4 sheets of patterned paper in the pack.

I have shown two samples, one with a Misty Moonlight card base and the other with a Smoky Slate card base.

This an easy card to make, with the a piece of the Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon behind the sentiment panel and Rhinestone Basic Jewels added to finish.

The two long strips are used to decorate the inside of the cards.

Gilded Autumn Cards

Hi everyone, sharing my cards I made from a 30.5cm x 30.5cm piece of the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I have used the Forever Fern and Itty Bitty Greetings stamp sets along with the Forever Flourishing Dies and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

All the card bases are Very Vanilla Thick cardstock.

I cut the paper at 12.8cm in a horizontal cut, then cut this piece into three 8.5cm x 12.8cm pieces and two 2.5cm x 12.8cm pieces.

I then cut another piece at 12.8cm in a horizontal cut and cut this the same way.

This left a piece 30.5cm x 4.9cm.  I cut this into a 2.5cm horizontal strip and this I cut into two 2.5cm x 12.8cm pieces.  This left a 2.4cm piece which I cut into two 2.4cm x 12.8cm pieces.

Cards 1 and 2 use the 8.5cm x 12.8cm pieces that were matted onto Early Espresso cardstock cut at 9cm x 13.3cm and Card 3 uses the 2.5cm x 12.8cm strips matted onto Early Espresso cardstock cut at 3cm x 13.3cm.  You get three each of Cards 1 and 2 and four of Card 3, that is 10 cards from the one sheet of patterned paper.

The centre panel for Cards 1 and 2 is a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 6cm x 10.3cm and then matted onto a piece of 6.5cm x 10.8cm.

This was stamped using the small dot image from the Forever Fern stamp set and Early Espresso ink.  The sentiment was also stamped on the bottom right corner using Early Espresso ink.  This panel was adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.

The floral arrangement was made by die cutting the curved leaf piece using the Brushed Metallic cardstock.  The curved foliage piece was cut from Early Espresso cardstock.  These were glued in place before adding a leaf image that was stamped with Cajun Craze ink on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock before being die cut.   To finish the floral arrangement some of the wooden elements from the In Good Taste Elements were added and a Metallic Ribbon bow added.  The Metallic Ribbon is from the Basketweave and Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.

Card 3 uses the 2.5cm x 12.8cm strips, these were matted onto 3cm x 13.3cm pieces of Early Espresso cardstock.  A piece of Very Vanillia cardstock cut at 14.3cm x 10cm was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder which was adhered to the card front.  The Designer Series Paper matted strips were adhered on top of this.

The centre panel was created using the 2nd largest Stitched Scallop Rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  A piece of Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 5cm x 8cm was stamped the same as for Cards 1 and 2 before being adhered to the Stitched Scallop Rectangle.  This was adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.  The floral arrangement pieces were also made the same as for Cards 1 and 2.  The sentiment was Gold heat embossed on a piece of Early Espresso.

Some of the gorgeous Champagne Rhinestones Basic Jewels were added to all 3 cards to finish.

Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper - Day 6

Hi everyone, welcome to Day 6 of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper projects.

I have chosen this piece of patterned paper for today's cards.

For this set of cards I have used the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Layering Square Dies and the Forever Flourishing Dies.  The base cards are all Gray Granite.

Card 1 uses the pieces of Designer Series Paper cut at 9.2cm x 6.3cm.  You will get 8 of these cards from the 4 pieces of patterned paper in the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Pack.

Card 2 uses the 2.8cm x 2.8cm squares.  These have been adhered to a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle cut using the 2nd die in the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  You will bet 6 of these cards from the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Pack.

Card 3 uses the 4 left over 2.8cm x 2.8cm squares.  These have been adhered to a Scalloped Square using the largest die in the Layering Squares Dies.  You will get one of these cards.

Card 4 uses the 2.6cm x 2.6cm sqaures.  These have been layered onto a Scalloped Square cut using the Square Layering Dies.  You will get 2 of these cards from the 4 pieces of patterned paper.

Smile

Hi everyone, sharing another of the projects from last week's card class.

This card uses the Forever Fern bundle, Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack and the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

The card base is Pretty Peacock.  The Whisper White scalloped rectangle is made using the largest scalloped stitched rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  This was adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.  The piece of patterned paper is from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper pack.  This was cut at 5.1cm x 10.2cm (or 2" x 4") and adhered over the stitched rectangle.  A little tip is to add some Mini Dimensionals either end to support the paper that extends over the stitched rectangle.

A strip of Pear Pizzazz cardstock with the ends flagged was adhered to the card front before the sentiment piece was added.

The sentiment was stamped using Black Memento ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  The Gold Foil Sheet leaves were cut using the large leaf die from the Forever Flourishing dies.  I then snip the pieces off and arranged them behind the die cut sentiment piece before adhering the piece to the card front using Dimensionals.

To finish the card front a double gold trim bow was added along with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.  The gold trim is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.

For the inside of the card a leaf image from the Forever Fern stamp set was stamped using Pear Pizzazz ink on a piece of Whisper White cards stock before being adhered to the inside of the card.

Best Dressed Designer Series Paper - Day 6

Hi everyone, sharing the project for Day 6 of the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper cards.

This is a bold card, just as bold as your lipstick (haha).

The sentiment is from the Dressed to Impress stamp set with the label made using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  The same label for your message is also on the inside of the card.

This card design is made by cutting a 5cm piece from the front, this shows the background paper that coordinates with the bold striped paper.  Great way to create some contrast on your cards.

Best Dressed Designer Series Paper - Day 5

Hi everyone, sharing the project for Day 5 of the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper cards.

The Best Dressed Designer Series Paper pack has so many beautiful designs, this one coordinates with Blackberry Bliss.

I made some more of my favourite Daisy Flowers for this card along with the sentiment panel made using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

A little bit of bling was added using Gold Glimmer Paper and some of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

Best Dressed Designer Series Paper - Day 3

Hi everyone, sharing the project for Day 3 of the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper cards.

These two cards use the one sheet of paper, I cut the length of the paper to 12.8cm which left enough for two strips for the inside cards.

For card 1 the width of the paper is 6.8cm and for card 2 it is 8.5cm.

The daisy flowers were created using one of my favourite stamp sets Daisy Lane with the coordinating Medium Daisy Punch.

The labels on each card were created using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies with the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

Let the Paper Do the Talking

Hi everyone, have you ever been overwhelmed on how to use some of the Designer Series Paper?  I love the new Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper, just gorgeous.  Too pretty to cover up, so I designed a card that lets the paper do the talking.

I have kept the sentiment panel very simple and plain so that the gorgeous background Designer Series Paper shines through.

The sentiment is from the Forever Blossoms stamp set and was die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  This I backed onto a Basic Black Stitched Shaped Circle and adhered to the card using Dimensionals.

The little flower and leaves are from the same Forever Blossoms stamp set and were stamped using Black Memento ink and cut out using the Cherry Blossoms Dies.  The flower was coloured using Petal Pink Stampin' Blends (Light and Dark).

Amour

Hi everyone, hoping you had a Merry Christmas and enjoyed your time with your family and friends.  I had a lovely time with family, I even caught up with my cousin and his wife who I have not seen for about 2 years which was fantastic.

I had time today to have a little play with some of the new products coming in the new Mini Catalogue on 2 January 2020.  OMG, 2020, it does not seem that long ago it was all the hype about 2000 and the end of the world.

For my card I have used products from the Parisian Blossoms Suite, using the Parisian Beauty stamp set along with the Parisian Dies and the Cherry Blossom Dies.   The sentiment was cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I know that I will be using this Die set a lot, it it is amazing.

There is a lot going on on my card, I got a little carried away,  But hey you cannot have enough flowers right!

The background I stamped using Sahara Sand ink using the images from the Parisian Beauty stamp set.  The sentiment is also from this stamp set.

The rest of the card is all die cutting and layering, with the addition of the Champagne Rhinestones for the small flower centres.

Thank you for visiting.
