Saying Goodbye to Just Jade

Hi everyone, sharing a card I made using the colour Just Jade from the 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series Paper Pack which is retiring.  I used a colour scheme of Early Espresso, Just Jade and Basic White.

I used the Forever Fern stamp set, stamping the leaves and foliage in Evening Evergreen, Soft Suede and Just Jade using the Forever Flourishing Dies.  A foliage piece was die cut using one of the the Brushed Metallic Foil Sheets.  A double Linen Thread bow as added to finish the foliage spray.

The sentiment is from the Art Gallery stamp set which was white heat embossed on Early Espresso cardstock and die cut using the Floral Gallery dies.

Happy Mother's Day

Hi everyone, sharing a card I made using products from the Forever Greenery Suite.  I needed some Mother's Day cards for the cards sales at work so I made 12 of these using the one sheet of Designer Series Paper from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper pack.

I cut the Designer Series Paper at 7.6cm x 10.2cm or 3" x 4" and the mat is cut at 7.9cm x 10.5cm or 3 1/8" x 4 1/8".

You can easily change this card to whatever occasion you like.  The stamp set I used for the sentiment is Itty Bitty Greetings and the leaves and other foliage is from the Forever Fern stamp set and these were die cut using the coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies.

I embossed the card front with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  It gives a little more dimension to the card front and goes perfectly with the design of the card.  I love the pretty look of this card, just perfect for a beautiful Mum's.

Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper - Day 12

Hi everyone, welcome to Day 12 and the final day of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper projects.

I have chose this piece of patterned paper for today's cards.

The stamp set I have used is Itty Bitty Greetings along with the Forever Flourishing Dies.

The card base is Blackberry Bliss cardstock. The background strip behind the centre panel is a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 5cm x 10.5cm (or 2" x 4 1/4") which was embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.  The centre Whisper White mat has been cut at 8cm x 12.3cm (or 3 1/4" x 4 1/2").

The leaf die cut piece was created using Whisper White cardstock and the die from the Forever Flourishing Dies.  A piece of the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was added behind the sentiment.  The sentiment was white heat embossed on a strip of Blackberry Bliss cardstock before one end was cut on a diagonal.

The two long strips are for decorating the inside of the cards.  You will get 2 cards from each sheet of patterned paper, so this is 8 cards from the 4 sheets in the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Pack.

Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper - Day 8

Hi everyone, welcome to Day 8 of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper projects.

I have chosen this piece of patterned paper for today's cards.

The stamp set I have used is Peaceful Moments along with the Layering Square Dies, Layering Oval Dies and Forever Flourishing Dies.

I really like the leaf die cut layered onto the patterned paper square.  It creates a great focal point on the card.  The Scalloped Square was cut from Whisper White cardstock using the largest Scalloped Square Die in the Layering Square Dies.  The piece of Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper was adhere to this and the square was then adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.  The card base is Highland Heather cardstock.

The leaf die cut was created using the Forever Flourishing Dies and Whisper White cardstock.  A small piece of Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon was adhered behind the sentiment oval.  A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to finish.

The long strips were used to decorate the inside of the cards.  You get 4 cards from the one sheet of Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper, so this is 16 cards from the 4 sheets in the paper pack.

Gilded Autumn Cards

Hi everyone, sharing my cards I made from a 30.5cm x 30.5cm piece of the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I have used the Forever Fern and Itty Bitty Greetings stamp sets along with the Forever Flourishing Dies and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

All the card bases are Very Vanilla Thick cardstock.

I cut the paper at 12.8cm in a horizontal cut, then cut this piece into three 8.5cm x 12.8cm pieces and two 2.5cm x 12.8cm pieces.

I then cut another piece at 12.8cm in a horizontal cut and cut this the same way.

This left a piece 30.5cm x 4.9cm.  I cut this into a 2.5cm horizontal strip and this I cut into two 2.5cm x 12.8cm pieces.  This left a 2.4cm piece which I cut into two 2.4cm x 12.8cm pieces.

Cards 1 and 2 use the 8.5cm x 12.8cm pieces that were matted onto Early Espresso cardstock cut at 9cm x 13.3cm and Card 3 uses the 2.5cm x 12.8cm strips matted onto Early Espresso cardstock cut at 3cm x 13.3cm.  You get three each of Cards 1 and 2 and four of Card 3, that is 10 cards from the one sheet of patterned paper.

The centre panel for Cards 1 and 2 is a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 6cm x 10.3cm and then matted onto a piece of 6.5cm x 10.8cm.

This was stamped using the small dot image from the Forever Fern stamp set and Early Espresso ink.  The sentiment was also stamped on the bottom right corner using Early Espresso ink.  This panel was adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.

The floral arrangement was made by die cutting the curved leaf piece using the Brushed Metallic cardstock.  The curved foliage piece was cut from Early Espresso cardstock.  These were glued in place before adding a leaf image that was stamped with Cajun Craze ink on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock before being die cut.   To finish the floral arrangement some of the wooden elements from the In Good Taste Elements were added and a Metallic Ribbon bow added.  The Metallic Ribbon is from the Basketweave and Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.

Card 3 uses the 2.5cm x 12.8cm strips, these were matted onto 3cm x 13.3cm pieces of Early Espresso cardstock.  A piece of Very Vanillia cardstock cut at 14.3cm x 10cm was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder which was adhered to the card front.  The Designer Series Paper matted strips were adhered on top of this.

The centre panel was created using the 2nd largest Stitched Scallop Rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  A piece of Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 5cm x 8cm was stamped the same as for Cards 1 and 2 before being adhered to the Stitched Scallop Rectangle.  This was adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.  The floral arrangement pieces were also made the same as for Cards 1 and 2.  The sentiment was Gold heat embossed on a piece of Early Espresso.

Some of the gorgeous Champagne Rhinestones Basic Jewels were added to all 3 cards to finish.

Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper - Day 6

Hi everyone, welcome to Day 6 of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper projects.

I have chosen this piece of patterned paper for today's cards.

For this set of cards I have used the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Layering Square Dies and the Forever Flourishing Dies.  The base cards are all Gray Granite.

Card 1 uses the pieces of Designer Series Paper cut at 9.2cm x 6.3cm.  You will get 8 of these cards from the 4 pieces of patterned paper in the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Pack.

Card 2 uses the 2.8cm x 2.8cm squares.  These have been adhered to a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle cut using the 2nd die in the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  You will bet 6 of these cards from the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Pack.

Card 3 uses the 4 left over 2.8cm x 2.8cm squares.  These have been adhered to a Scalloped Square using the largest die in the Layering Squares Dies.  You will get one of these cards.

Card 4 uses the 2.6cm x 2.6cm sqaures.  These have been layered onto a Scalloped Square cut using the Square Layering Dies.  You will get 2 of these cards from the 4 pieces of patterned paper.

The cards were all decorated with a leaf spray die cut using the Forever Flourishing Dies.  The sentiments are from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set and these have been White heat embossed on a piece of Basic Black.

Smile

Hi everyone, sharing another of the projects from last week's card class.

This card uses the Forever Fern bundle, Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack and the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

The card base is Pretty Peacock.  The Whisper White scalloped rectangle is made using the largest scalloped stitched rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  This was adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.  The piece of patterned paper is from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper pack.  This was cut at 5.1cm x 10.2cm (or 2" x 4") and adhered over the stitched rectangle.  A little tip is to add some Mini Dimensionals either end to support the paper that extends over the stitched rectangle.

A strip of Pear Pizzazz cardstock with the ends flagged was adhered to the card front before the sentiment piece was added.

The sentiment was stamped using Black Memento ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  The Gold Foil Sheet leaves were cut using the large leaf die from the Forever Flourishing dies.  I then snip the pieces off and arranged them behind the die cut sentiment piece before adhering the piece to the card front using Dimensionals.

To finish the card front a double gold trim bow was added along with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.  The gold trim is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.

For the inside of the card a leaf image from the Forever Fern stamp set was stamped using Pear Pizzazz ink on a piece of Whisper White cards stock before being adhered to the inside of the card.

Christmas Boughs

Hi everyone, sharing one of the projects from my recent class.  My first Christmas card for the year, yikes!

The inspiration for my card is from Gail Ellis, Blue Rose Paper Treasures.  I love the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper background with the spray made using the Beautiful Boughs dies, In The Woods dies and Forever Fern bundle.  The greeting is from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set.

To finish the card Real Red Wonderful Gems from the new August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue were added.  These give a great little pop of colour.

Just Add Ink #507

Hi everyone, I am playing along with the challenge this week at Just Add Ink.

How great is this sketch.  I have been in a little rut lately just using the same layouts on my cards, so it was rather exciting to have a great sketch to create with.

I went with a monochromatic look for my card, using a piece of patterned paper from the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The piece of Whisper White I cut at 8cm x 14.9cm, cutting on the diagonal 5cm up one side to the point on the other side.  This gave the diagonal on the piece.  I then embossed this piece with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

The stamp set that I have used is Forever Fern.  The large leaf was stamped using Crumb Cake ink with the small leaves being stamped with Early Espresso (2nd generation stamped).  These were cut out using the matching Forever Flourishing Dies.  A set of Gold Foil leaves were also die cut for the floral arrangement around the circle.

I love the circle element on the sketch, it gave me a chance to use the new Gold Hoops Elements which I backed onto an Early Espresso Stitched Shape Circle.  I arranged the die cut elements on one side of the circles, adding a small Gold Trim bow.  The trim is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.

The sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso ink on a piece of Whisper White before being die cut with the die from the Tasteful Labels Dies.

A few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots were added to finish the card.

For the inside I stamp the large leaf image using Crumb Cake ink on a piece of Whisper White before adhering to the card.

Thank you for visiting.
