Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack - Card 5

Hi everyone, sharing my last project for now using the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack. 

I did a little fussy cutting for the flower for this card.  I used one of the 6" x 4" cards, cutting off the striped section and fussy cutting the floral image.  You will get two of these cards if you use the other card in the pack.  I have also used a piece of patterned paper from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper Pack.  The mats are Basic Black Cardstock.

The card base is Crumb Cake which has been embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set which was stamped with Black Memento ink on Basic White Cardstock before being die cut using the Layering Circles Dies.  The scalloped Basic Black circle was also die cut using the Layering Circles Dies.

The circles were adhered together before being adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.  The fussy cut floral image was adhered to the sentiment circle using the Mini Dimensionals.  To finish a few Rhinestones were added along with the White Baker's Twine bow.

Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack - Card 3

Hi everyone, sharing project number 3 made using the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack.  I love creating with these cards as they make card making easy and also giving other options on top of the patterned papers in the Designer Series Paper Packs.

For this card I have used one of the 6" x 4" cards and one of the 3" x 4" cards.  I cut a 1" strip off the bottom of the 6" x 4" card and then cut each card in half lengthwise along with the 3" x 4" cards so you will get 2 of these finished projects from the two cards, if you use the other two cards the same in the pack you will be able to make 4 of these projects.  The 1" strip I cut into 1/2" strips to decorate the inside of the cards.

The mats are Pear Pizzazz with the card base Sahara Sand. You will have noticed that the card base was embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  A Gold Metallic Specialty Paper die cut has been adhered behind the sentiment circle.  This was die cut from the Penned Flowers Dies.  The sentiment circles were die cut using the Layering Circle Dies with the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

Some of the Loose Flower Flourishes in Pale Papaya were added along with a White Bakers Twice bow to finish.

Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack - Card 3

All Geared Up to Celebrate

Hi everyone, sharing one of the projects that the ladies made at this week's class using the Geared Up Garage stamp set and the matching Garage Gears Thinlits.  We had a little change up from making Christmas Cards this week.

The Designer Series Paper is from 3 separate paper packs, In Good Taste, 6" x 6" Regals, 6" x 6" 2020-2022 In Color.  These were all matted onto Basic Black cardstock. The measurements for these pieces are:

Real Red Designer Series Paper 3.8cm x 10.8cm

Basic Black cardstock 4.2cm x 11.2cm

Bumblebee Designer Series Paper 2cm x 10cm

Basic Black cardstock 2.4cm x 10.4cm

Smoky Slate Designer Series Paper 5.1cm x 5.1cm

Basic Black cardstock 5.5cm x 5.5cm

The card base is Basic Black with the mat being Smoky Slate.  The Whisper White piece was embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

The cogs were cut from a piece of Silver Foil Sheet.  The car was stamped using Black Memento ink, coloured with Dark Real Red Stampin' Blend before being die cut.

The sentiment was White heat embossed on a piece of Basic Black cardstock and then fussy cut before adhering to the card front.

All Geared Up to Celebrate

Zany Zebras

Hi everyone, hope you are all keeping safe.  We are fortunate here in Western Australia to be in Phase 4 of our roadmap to ease COVID-19 restrictions with Phase 5 scheduled for 18 July.  Life in Western Australia is nearly back to normal, a new normal with travel restrictions for overseas travel and interstate travel to the rest of Australia.  We live in an amazing part of Australia, so we will be holidaying at home in our beautiful State of Western Australia for the foreseeable future.

I have been rather busy at work the past few weeks with it being the end of the Financial Year in Australia so I have not had much time for creating.  You have probably noticed the lack of posts in the past two weeks, and this is the reason why.  My fingers were itching to get creating.

Today's post is a fun card made using the Zany Zebras stamp set.  How cute at these little guys or girls.

I have used two of the new 2020-2022 In Colors, Cinnamon Cider and Bumblebee.  The patterned paper is from the 2020-2022 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper pack.  I cut the circles using the two largest dies from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

The Zebra was stamped using Black Memento Ink, how easy is this no colouring involved.  Do not forget to stamp the ground image underneath, it finishes the image off perfectly.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped using Cinnamon Cider ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then die cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies. 

The background was embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  I love the texture that is created on a plan piece of Whisper White cardstock, it turns it into something amazing.

To finish my card I added a piece of Cinnamon Cider Twill Ribbon and some Rhinestones.

Zany Zebras

Birthday Flowers

Hi everyone, sharing another card using the Flowers for Every Season 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack.

I had a lot of the flowers left that I had fussy cut from one of the sheets so decided to use them up by creating some birthday cards for the Relay for Life Cancer Council Team's fundraising efforts at my work.

I cut the Bumblebee patterned piece of paper into 2" strips so you get 3 cards from the one piece of 6" x 6" piece of paper.  One of the pieces was adhered to a piece of Whisper White cardstock that had been embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  This embossing folder is fast becoming my go to embossing folder for creating backgrounds (just in case you had not noticed).

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set which was die cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies.

A piece of Magenta Madness 1/4" Twill Ribbon was arranged behind the sentiment label with some 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots added to finish the card front.

Birthday Flowers

Flowers for Every Season Cards

Hi everyone, sharing 4 cards that I made from the two pieces of the Flowers for Every Season 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper.

I fussy cut all the flowers from one sheet and use the striped piece to create my cards.

I cut the Designer Series Paper into strips shown in the diagram below.

Card 1

This card uses the two 2cm x 14.9cm pieces.  I adhered these two strips on either side of the card front and adhere a piece of Whisper White cardstock 7.5cm x 14.9cm that was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

The fussy cut flowers are arranged behind the sentiment label which is from the Tasteful Touches stamp set. This was die cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies.  A piece of Magenta Madness Ribbon was also added behind the label.

To finish the card some of the 2020-2022 In-color Enamel Dots were scattered around.

Card 2

This card uses the 3.3cm x 14.9cm strip of Designer Series Paper which was adhered to the bottom of the card front.

A piece of Whisper White cardstock 7.5cm x 14.9cm embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder was adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.

The fussy cut flowers are arranged behind and on the sentiment label which is from the Tasteful Touches stamp set. This was die cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies.  A piece of Magenta Madness Ribbon was also added behind the label.

To finish the card some of the 2020-2022 In-color Enamel Dots were scattered around.

Card 3

This card uses one of the 4cm x 14.9cm strips of Designer Series Paper.

The fussy cut flowers are arranged behind the sentiment which is from the Tasteful Touches stamp set. This was die cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  A piece of Magenta Madness Ribbon was also added behind the label before a small Stitched Nested Labels Die was added.  This was cut in half to create the elongated length.

To finish the card some of the 2020-2022 In-color Enamel Dots were scattered around.

Card 4

This card uses the other the 4cm x 14.9cm strips of Designer Series Paper.

The fussy cut flower was arranged on the sentiment label which is from the Tasteful Touches stamp set. This was die cut using the  2nd largest square from the Stitched Shaped Dies.  A piece of Magenta Madness Ribbon was also added behind the label.

To finish the card some of the 2020-2022 In-color Enamel Dots were scattered around.

The left over flowers were adhered to the inside of the cards to create a beautiful finish for the inside of the card that matches the card front.

Flowers for Every Season Cards

Just Add Ink #507

Hi everyone, I am playing along with the challenge this week at Just Add Ink.

How great is this sketch.  I have been in a little rut lately just using the same layouts on my cards, so it was rather exciting to have a great sketch to create with.

I went with a monochromatic look for my card, using a piece of patterned paper from the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The piece of Whisper White I cut at 8cm x 14.9cm, cutting on the diagonal 5cm up one side to the point on the other side.  This gave the diagonal on the piece.  I then embossed this piece with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. 

The stamp set that I have used is Forever Fern.  The large leaf was stamped using Crumb Cake ink with the small leaves being stamped with Early Espresso (2nd generation stamped).  These were cut out using the matching Forever Flourishing Dies.  A set of Gold Foil leaves were also die cut for the floral arrangement around the circle.

I love the circle element on the sketch, it gave me a chance to use the new Gold Hoops Elements which I backed onto an Early Espresso Stitched Shape Circle.  I arranged the die cut elements on one side of the circles, adding a small Gold Trim bow.  The trim is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.

The sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso ink on a piece of Whisper White before being die cut with the die from the Tasteful Labels Dies.

A few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots were added to finish the card.

For the inside I stamp the large leaf image using Crumb Cake ink on a piece of Whisper White before adhering to the card.

Forever Greenery Suite

Hi everyone, sharing some cards I made with a 6" x 12" piece of patterned paper from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper.  Just a little sneak peak of what is available next week.
