Happy Mother's Day

Hi everyone, sharing a card I made using products from the Forever Greenery Suite.  I needed some Mother's Day cards for the cards sales at work so I made 12 of these using the one sheet of Designer Series Paper from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper pack.  

I cut the Designer Series Paper at 7.6cm x 10.2cm or 3" x 4" and the mat is cut at 7.9cm x 10.5cm or 3 1/8" x 4 1/8".

You can easily change this card to whatever occasion you like.  The stamp set I used for the sentiment is Itty Bitty Greetings and the leaves and other foliage is from the Forever Fern stamp set and these were die cut using the coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies.

I embossed the card front with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  It gives a little more dimension to the card front and goes perfectly with the design of the card.  I love the pretty look of this card, just perfect for a beautiful Mum's.

Happy Mother's Day

Using those Designer Series Paper Leftovers

Hi everyone, sharing some cards I made using the leftover Designer Series Paper from the Forever Greenery Paper Pack.  I was going to call these my scrap cards but I decided to call them my Lockdown cards as we are in day 3 of the snap 3 day Covid-19 Lockdown.  The lockdown will end tonight at midnight, but we still have some restrictions on what we are allowed to do, but we can go to work tomorrow if we cannot work from home and we are allowed out and about, yay.  I also had a day in lockdown without any power, but I still managed to make my cards.  I just could not do any heat embossing.

I used the paper scraps left in my Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper Pack, I just sorted the pieces into patterns and started creating.  There are no measurements as I just picked a piece of patterned paper, worked out the size and cut a mat accordingly and then found some of the other patterns that worked well with it.  

I also used the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper as I had a lot of these pieces that I had not used.

I am quite please with the finished results.

I still have some more cards that I have made using my leftovers which I will post tomorrow.

Using those Designer Series Paper Leftovers

Forever Greenery

Hi everyone, we are in day 2 of a 3 day Covid-19 Lockdown here in Perth, Western Australia, so I have been keep myself amused by making cards.  I mean to say what else could I do, as we are not allowed to go out unless for food, medical assistance and 1 hour of exercise.  I sell cards at my place of work and donate the proceeds to the Cancer Council and the supply has been getting a bit low and needed restocking. So these were good enough reasons to be making cards for the last 2 days.  Bet you cannot guess what I will be doing tomorrow.

I have been making cards using up a lot of my retired Designer Series Paper and some retired stamp sets but this afternoon I made a set of cards using one of the sheets from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper Pack so I thought that I would share the cards with you.  When I make these cards I usually mass produce the same card as I sell a lot of them at work and I find it easier to make a lot of the same cards in one go.

I got 9 cards all up, 8 of the first design and 1 of the second design.  The 2nd design was actually a piece of Designer Series Paper that was left after I had decorated the inside of the other 8 cards and it was just a perfect size for a card front.

I cut the Designer Series Paper at 11.8cm x 7.5cm, you will get 8 pieces from the one 12" x 12" piece of patterned paper.  The cardstock mats are cut at Pool Party 13.8cm x 9.5cm, Basic White 13.3cm x 9cm and Pretty Peacock 12.3cm x 8cm.  The card base is Pretty Peacock.

This piece of Designer Series Paper was 7cm x 10.5cm, this is what was left after I finished decorating the inside of the other 8 cards.  I cut a Pretty Peacock mat at 7.5cm x 11cm to mat the patterned paper on and the other two mats are cut the same size as the first card design.

Forever Greenery

Hi everyone, sharing another of the projects from last week's card class. 

This card uses the Forever Fern bundle, Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack and the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

The card base is Pretty Peacock.  The Whisper White scalloped rectangle is made using the largest scalloped stitched rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  This was adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.  The piece of patterned paper is from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper pack.  This was cut at 5.1cm x 10.2cm (or 2" x 4") and adhered over the stitched rectangle.  A little tip is to add some Mini Dimensionals either end to support the paper that extends over the stitched rectangle. 

A strip of Pear Pizzazz cardstock with the ends flagged was adhered to the card front before the sentiment piece was added.

The sentiment was stamped using Black Memento ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  The Gold Foil Sheet leaves were cut using the large leaf die from the Forever Flourishing dies.  I then snip the pieces off and arranged them behind the die cut sentiment piece before adhering the piece to the card front using Dimensionals.

To finish the card front a double gold trim bow was added along with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.  The gold trim is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.

For the inside of the card a leaf image from the Forever Fern stamp set was stamped using Pear Pizzazz ink on a piece of Whisper White cards stock before being adhered to the inside of the card.

Christmas Boughs

Hi everyone, sharing one of the projects from my recent class.  My first Christmas card for the year, yikes!

The inspiration for my card is from Gail Ellis, Blue Rose Paper Treasures.  I love the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper background with the spray made using the Beautiful Boughs dies, In The Woods dies and Forever Fern bundle.  The greeting is from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set.

To finish the card Real Red Wonderful Gems from the new August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue were added.  These give a great little pop of colour.

Christmas Boughs

Forever Greenery Suite

Hi everyone, sharing some cards I made with a 6" x 12" piece of patterned paper from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper.  Just a little sneak peak of what is available next week.
