Merry Christmas

Hi everyone, I am sharing a card I made using the gorgeous Ever Eden Designer Series Paper which is available to purchase on the 2 November 2021.  I also used the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and the coordinating Poinsettia Dies.

I have used a standard card base and cut the Designer Series Paper and Gold Foil Sheet at:

  • Soft Succulent/Basic Black pattern - 10.5cm x 2cm
  • Gold Foil Sheet - 10.5cm x 1.5cm
  • Leaf pattern - 10.5cm x 5.1cm
These pieces were adhered together and the adhered to the card front.  Take note that I only left a very small strip of the Gold Foil Sheet showing, I only wanted a hint of the gold on these layers.

Stamp the Merry Christmas on the bottom portion of the card using Evening Evergreen ink.

Die cut the Poinsettia Flower from Basic White cardstock, the Holly Leaves from Evening Evergreen cardstock and the foliage sprigs from Gold Foil Sheet.  The flower centre was cut from a piece of Gold Foil Sheet with some Pearl Basic Jewels added to this.

Adhere all the Poinsettia Flower pieces together, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue for this.

Cut a piece of 3/8" Gold Shimmer Ribbon 21 cm long.

Adhere the Holly Leaves and Gold Foliage pieces in place and add the piece of Gold Shimmer Ribbon  before adhering the Poinsettia Flower.

Add some Gold Metallic Pearls to finish the card front.

For the card inside, cut a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock at 10cm x 14.3cm and a piece of Basic White Cardstock at 9.5cm x 13.8cm.  Stamp the small foliage sprig on the bottom right corner using Evening Evergreen ink.  Adhere the Basic White cardstock piece to the Evening Evergreen mat and then adhere to the card inside.

Hope you enjoyed this project.

  2. This is a beautiful card. It's great that you gave the measurements, but having them in inches would be so helpful! Thanks for sharing this beautiful card. GlendaJ
