One Sheet Wonder - Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, I started card making yesterday with the aim to use one of the sheets from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper Pack that I always have trouble using, so I have a few sheets of it that I wanted to use up.

I decided to use the Biggest Wish stamp set and make the sentiments all the same design.  I created the circles using Basic White and Fresh Freesia cardstock and die cutting with the Layering Circle Dies.  I stamped the sentiment using Fresh Freesia and Black Memento ink.  To finish the sentiment circles I added some of the Loose Flower Flourishes.  A 23cm piece of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon was also added behind the sentiment circle.

As I started creating I realised that I was making a One Sheet Wonder so carried on with this theme to use up the entire sheet of 12" x 12".  The cutting template is at the bottom of this post.

All the mats are cut at 3cm larger than the Designer Series Paper.

Also to make things easier, all the card bases are Basic White, tent folded and embossed with the 3D Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

To decorate the inside of the cards I have used some strips of the Designer Series Paper and I also die cut some Fresh Freesia cardstock using the Basic Border Dies.

Cards 1 & 3

This piece of patterned paper was cut at 10.5cm wide by 9.2cm high.  I measured 6cm down on the right side and cut on the diagonal.  Keep the off cuts to decorate the inside of Cards 2 and 4.   A small strip of Basic Black cardstock was added on the diagonal at the edge of the patterned paper.

Cards 2 & 4

This piece of patterned paper was cut at 10.5cm wide by 6cm high.  Three strips of Basic Black cardstock were added below the patterned paper behind the sentiment circle.

The diagonal off cut from Cards 1 & 3 were used to decorate the inside of the cards.

Cards 5, 6 & 7

This piece of patterned paper was cut at 5.1cm wide by 10.1cm high.

Cards 8 & 9

The patterned paper was cut at 3cm wide by 12.8cm high - cut 2 pieces for each card.

Card 10

The patterned paper was cut at 3.5cm wide by 5.7cm high - cut 4 pieces for the card.

Card 11 & 12

The floral patterned paper was cut at 6.5cm wide by 8.9cm high.  The green striped patterned paper is cut at 1cm wide by 6.3cm high and 2.5cm wide and 6.3cm high.  The Basic Black mat for the green striped patterned paper was cut at 9cm wide by 6.6cm high.  The 1cm strip is adhered to the left side and the 2.5cm strip is adhered to the right side, leaving the small border.  The blank space in the middle will be covered by the floral patterned paper.
