Tuesday Challenge #10

Hi everyone, it is the 10th week of my 'Tuesday Challenge' to use a stamp set and other goodies from the Annual Catalogue to create a card or other project.

 Where does the time go, it seems as I am getting older the weeks are going faster.

This week's card uses the Painted Class stamp set, Graceful Glass Designer Series Paper, Stitched Shaped Framelits and the Delicate Lace Edgelits.  
The flowers on the piece of Graceful Glass Designer Series Paper were enhanced by using the Pick Tool and the attachment with the small ball on the end and the Stampin' Pierce Mat.  On the reverse of the Designer Series Paper press on the flowers with Pick Tool and using small circular motions go over the flower, this embosses the flowers and creates the white effect on the Vellum, very similar to Parchment craft.

This Designer Series Paper is retiring at the end of May so make sure you stock up.   You can colour it with Stampin' Blends and Stampin' Write Markers, emboss it like I have or just leave it plain.

Beautiful Stained Glass

The Graceful Glass 6" c 6" Designer Vellum has been designed to be coloured with your favourite method of colouring, whether it be Stampin' Blends, Stampin' Write Markers, Watercolor Pencils or Classic Ink with and Aquapainter.


I coloured this piece with Stampin' Blends, I love the vibrant colour finish that Stampin' Blends give.

The card base is Rich Razzleberry with a piece of Old Olive added to give some contrast and also to tie the colours in the stained glass piece to the card base.

Blue Stained Glass

When coloured the Graceful Glass Designer Vellum gives you a gorgeous finished piece just like a stained glass window.  I have coloured this piece of vellum with Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point Stampin' Write Markers.

The font on the images in the Painted Glass stamp set compliments the stained glass window effect, making is so easy to create your card.  All you have to do is decide on a design layout.

2018-2020 In-colors

After I posted my 'It's a Beautiful Day' card 2 days ago I had a thought about making another 4 cards using the same sketch to show the gorgeous 2018-2020 In-colors.


Call Me Clover, what a beautiful vibrant green.  I have teamed this colour with the Rooted in Nature stamp set and the matching Nature's Roots Framelits.   Notice the silver metal leaf, this is from the new Leaves Trinkets. 


Pineapple Punch makes you think of beautiful spring day.  I have teamed this colour with the Painted Glass stamp set and the Stained Glass Thinlits.  The butterflies were coloured using the Daffodil Delight Dark and Light Stampin' Blends.


Blueberry Bushel is a perfect colour for masculine cards.  I have teamed this colour with the Lift Me Up stamp set and the Up & Away Thinlits.


Grapefruit Grove is perfect for making very pretty cards.  I have teamed this colour with the Accented Blooms stamp set, Stitched Labels Fraemlits and the Tailored Tag Punch and Leaf Punch.

I have used the Stitched Labels Framelits on all the cards to create the stitched border on the cardstock strip on top of the Designer Series Paper (I know that I am going to be using this Framelits set a lot).

Have a Beautiful Birthday

I made this card as one of my ideas for my swap for our April Stamparoos get together, I changed my mind and used another card but wanted to share this one with you.


There are a few new products on this card.  The patterned paper is from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The stamp set is 'Painted Glass' and the Thinlits 'Stained Glass' which coordinate with the stamp set.
