Free As A Bird

Hi everyone, sharing another project that the ladies made in last week's class.

Stamp set is 'Free As A Bird'.  The ladies really enjoyed making this card, watercolouring the image with Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose, Crushed Curry and Old Olive ink and an Aquapainter.

The piece of Rococo Rose Designer Series Paper is from the 2019-2020 In Colours paper pack.  If you cut 2" strips you get 3 cards from one 6" x 6" piece of patterned paper.

A strip of the gorgeous Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon was adhered across the card front on top of the Designer Series Paper.  The layout for this card is quite simple and I really liked the finished card.  There is just something about browns and pinks together that I find quite pretty.

If you live in Australia
you can get all the supplies you need
for this project from me.

You can place an order online or Contact Me and place an order.

Tuesday Challenge #25

Hi everyone, sharing my card for my Tuesday Challenge #25.  I have created quite a simple card, just a bit of stamping, watercolouring, fussy cutting and embossing.  Did I say quite simple, it sounds complicated!

I stamped the image from the Free As A Bird stamp set using Black StazOn on some Shimmery White cardstock before watercolouring with Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Rococo Rose, Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow.

This card did involve a bit of fussy cutting, as I cut the image out and raised it up on dimensionals on the piece of Whisper White cardstock that I embossed with the Subtles Embossing Folder.

I stamped the sentiment from the Free As A Bird stamp set using Black StazOn. I stamped this last and I was not sure how this would stamp over the embossed card but no problem.  I added a few Rhinestones before adhering the finished piece to the Crumb Cake card base using dimensionals.

Thank you for visiting.

CAS(E) this Sketch #333

Hi everyone, I am playing along with the challenge this week at CAS(E) this Sketch.

I turned the sketch from portrait to landscape for my card as the elements that I wanted to use did not fit across the card in portrait.

The centre panel was embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

My stamp set of choice is 'Free As a Bird'.  I stamped the flowers, leaves and bird on Shimmery White Cardstock before watercolouring the images and fussy cutting them.

The flowers were coloured with Merry Merlot, the leaves with Mossy Meadow and the bird with Rococo Rose, Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Crushed Curry.  The bird is doing a good job of camouflaging itself amongst the flowers.

The strip of Designer Series Paper is from the Neutrals Paper Pack.

Did you notice the longer sentiment panel?  I cut two of the Stitched Rectangle pieces and cut a piece off one and joined the two together, the join is behind the bird, you would be none the wiser if you did not know.  The sentiment was stamped using Soft Suede ink.

To finish the card I added some Glitter Enamel Dots.

Thank you for visting.

Fundraiser - Junior Diabetes Research Foundation

Hi everyone, sharing the projects that the ladies made at the fundraiser I held yesterday for the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.

I had 40 ladies attend the fundraiser and they had a great time making the cards and catching up with everyone. We raised $4,040 AUD which I think is an amazing effort by everyone.

A big thank you for all those who supported the day, it is very much appreciated.

I have been designing and cutting up kits for the last 8 weeks (in between working full time), so have not been making a lot of projects to post on my blog so hopefully you enjoy these.

Card 1

This card uses the gorgeous Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper, Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and the Magnolia Memory Dies.

The Magnolia was coloured using Petal Pink (Light & Dark) and Mossy Meadow (Light & Dark) Stampin' Blends.

Card 2

This card uses the Broadway Birthday stamp set. The Designer Series Paper I have used on this card is now retired as I actually designed this card in April ready for my fundraiser.  You could use other Designer Series Paper to get a similar look.

Card 3

This card uses product from the Come Sail Away Suite.  I love all the products in this Suite and I know I will be making a lot of projects using this Suite.

Card 4

This card uses the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards and Envelopes and the Free as a Bird stamp set.

The image was coloured using and Aquapainter and Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose, Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow ink.

Card 5

This card uses the Over the Moon stamp set.  I cannot remember who first stamp the 'Cow Paper' that I have CASED and there are so many demonstrators doing it now that it is hard to find the original idea.  So whomever you are, thank you so much for such a great idea.

I did two variations on how to put this card together.

Card 6

This card uses the oh so pretty Noble Peacock Suite.  How amazing is the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Card 7

This card uses the To a Wild Ride stamp set.  The rose is a 3 step stamped image and the Stamparatus is the perfect tool to use when stamping the rose.

Card 8

This card uses the Above the Clouds and Waterfront stamp sets and the coordinating Hot Air Balloon Punch.  This card is my favourite,

Thank you for visiting.
