Stash Busting Saturday - Thoughtful Journey 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, sorry for not posting last weekend but I had a little break as I was away at Dwellingup with a group of friends for a craft long weekend.  I had a great time catching up with everyone and playing with some of the products from the new Mini Catalogue.

For this week's Stash Buster, I have used some leftover pieces from the Thoughful Journey 6" x 6" Designer Paper pack.  I had four pieces of the Flower patterned paper that I have used for the background and 1" strips of the Blackberry Bliss coloured patterned paper.  I made 4 cards using a Card Sketch from Jess Crafts 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper Template #18.  I liked the layout of the sketch and thought it would be perfect to use up these pieces of Designer Series Paper.

I have used a Blackberry Bliss Card base and adhered the flower patterned DSP to this, making sure to centre it.  The piece of DSP was 3" wide and I just cut off the small overhang from the bottom.

I cut the 1" strips down to 1" x 2" pieces and matted them onto Basic White mats cut at 1 1/8" x 2 1/8".  These were adhered across the card front and the sentiment add.

I created the sentiment using the Unbounded Love stamp set and the Greetings of the Seasons Dies.  I added a bow created using the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon, which I cut in half to make a thinner piece of ribbon.

To finish the cards I added some Rhinestones for a little bling.

Stash Busting Saturday - Ghost Stamping

Hi everyone, for this week's Stash Buster project I am using a technique called Ghost Stamping.  I am working my through my pack of 2024-2026 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment.  It is amazing how many cards you can get from one paper pack, lol.  I still have over 3/4 of a pack to go.

I made 6 cards using one sheet of Shy Shamrock patterned DSP from the pack.  

The stamp sets and dies I used are Unbounded Love and Textured Floral.

I cut the DSP into 2" x 3" pieces and matted these onto Shy Shamrock 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" cardstock and then matted these onto Basic White 2 1/5" x 3 1/5" cardstock.

The card base was stamped with the two floral images from the Textured Floral stamp set first using White Craft ink and after this had dried with Shy Shamrock ink, slightly offset to create the ghosting effect.

The sentiment is from the Unbounded Love stamp set and was stamped using Black Memento ink before die cutting using one of the dies from the Unbounded Love dies.

Some White ribbon and pearls were added to finish the cards.

Stash Busting Saturday - Delicate Desert 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, it is time for another 'Stash Busting' show and tell.

I have selected the Delicate Desert 12' x 12" Designer Series Paper for this week's Stash Buster.  This paper pack is still available on the Clearance Rack in the Online Shop here.

The card layout is from the May 2024 Sheetload of Cards created by Call Me Craft Al and you can find her great process video here which shows all the cutting layout and how to put the cards together. 

I have used a new stamp set "Unbounded Love" and a new die set 'Flowers of Beauty'for my cards.  I made 6 of these cards from the two sheets of patterned paper.

I added some Champagne Rhinestones to the flower centres, these are retired but I still have a heap in my stash to use up.  The little brass butterflies are from the Brushed Brass Butterflies embellishments which are still available.
