Stash Busting Saturday - Thoughtful Journey 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, sorry for not posting last weekend but I had a little break as I was away at Dwellingup with a group of friends for a craft long weekend.  I had a great time catching up with everyone and playing with some of the products from the new Mini Catalogue.

For this week's Stash Buster, I have used some leftover pieces from the Thoughful Journey 6" x 6" Designer Paper pack.  I had four pieces of the Flower patterned paper that I have used for the background and 1" strips of the Blackberry Bliss coloured patterned paper.  I made 4 cards using a Card Sketch from Jess Crafts 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper Template #18.  I liked the layout of the sketch and thought it would be perfect to use up these pieces of Designer Series Paper.

I have used a Blackberry Bliss Card base and adhered the flower patterned DSP to this, making sure to centre it.  The piece of DSP was 3" wide and I just cut off the small overhang from the bottom.

I cut the 1" strips down to 1" x 2" pieces and matted them onto Basic White mats cut at 1 1/8" x 2 1/8".  These were adhered across the card front and the sentiment add.

I created the sentiment using the Unbounded Love stamp set and the Greetings of the Seasons Dies.  I added a bow created using the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon, which I cut in half to make a thinner piece of ribbon.

To finish the cards I added some Rhinestones for a little bling.
