Stash Busting Saturday - Last Chance List

Hi everyone, for this week's Stash Buster projects I delved into the Last Chance List on the Stampin' Up! Online Store.

I have used the 2023-2025 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack, Copper Clay Textured Ribbon and the Deckled Rectangles Dies.  I teamed these with the Saying Hey stamp set to create 8 cards from 2 sheets of the Copper Clay Designer Series Paper.

I cut the first piece of Designer Series Paper into 7.6cm x 7.6cm (3" x 3") Squares.  I then cut 1" off one end, so you will have two pieces of Designer Series Paper.

Adhere these to the outer edges of a piece of Crushed Curry that measures 10.1cm x 10.5cm (4" x 4 1/8"), the top and bottom edges have been torn. You will have a gap between the two pieces but this is covered by the strip of Basic Black cardstock that measures 15cm x 3.8cm (4 1/2" x 1 1/2").

Create the sentiment panel and adhere to the card front along with the Copper Clay Textured Ribbon and the small banners.  Add some Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins to finish.

For the second set of cards, cut the 6" x 6" piece of Designer Series Paper into 2" x 6" strips.  Cut 2 of these strips into 2" x 1" pieces, and the other strip into 2 3/4" x 2" pieces.  You will have a 1/4" x 2" strip left over which can be discarded.

Adhere the 2" x 1" pieces top and bottom to Basic Black mats cut at 2 1/4"x 3".  You will have a gap between the pieces but this is covered by a piece of Copper Clay cardstock cut at 7/8" x 5 1/2".  Create the sentiment panel (the Copper Clay ink was stamped off for the word Hey) and adhere to the card front along with the Copper Clay Textured Ribbon.  Add some Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems to finish.

I hope you enjoyed these 'Stash Buster' projects.

Stash Busting Saturday - Favored Flowers 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, sorry for being a day late in posting my 'Stash Busting Saturday' cards. I actually had intended posting last night as I had been out and about all day yesterday, however when I had another look at my cards I thought that they needed some cosmetic surgery.  All I did was add some leaves and greenery using the Layering Leaves punch and it made all the difference.  The sentiment was a bit lost with just the ribbon behind it and a few Rhinestones added for embellishments.

This is a great layout for using your strips of leftover Designeer Series Paper from other projects.

You need to cut the Designer Series Paper as follows:

- 4cm x 12.3cm (this is the purple/green flower piece)
- 4cm x 4.5cm (this is the purple patterned piece)
- 4cm x 7.5cm (this is the green patterned piece)

I layered these onto a Basic White Thick cardstock base using dimensionals.  You can decorate how you like.

The sentiment is from the Saying Hey stamp set. The stitched rectangle is from the Nested Essential Dies. The leaves and greenery were punched out using the Layering Leaves punch.

To finish just add some ribbon and rhinestones or other embellishments of your choice.

I hope you enjoyed this week's 'Stash Busting' project.

Stash Busting Saturday - Bee Mine 12"x 12" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, sharing this week's 'Stash Busting' Project.  I have used the Bee Mine 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper and the Bee My Valentine and Saying Hey stamp sets along with the Bee Builder Punch.

I had several pieces of patterned paper left over from previous projects, so I designed my card around these pieces so that I could use them up. I am not a fan of left over pieces of patterned paper in my stash, they seem to end up on the floor a lot, lol.

I made 5 cards using this design.  The fun part of making these cards was creating the Bees.

To make these cards you need to cut the following:

Basic Black Cardstock mat 8.5cm x 12.6cm
Designer Series Paper 4cm x 4.5cm
Designer Series Paper 4 cm x 7.5cm
Designer Series Paper 4cm x 12.3cm
Basic Black Cardstock 10.5cm x 2.5cm  (flag the ends)
Balmy Blue 2 3/8" Circle

The cardbase is a Basic White Thick Cardstock.

This layout is great for using up the small paper scraps left in your stash.

The ribbon is Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon which was part of the suite when it was released.  This is now retired but I am using up my stash so decided to use it on these cards.  I add some Rhinestones to finish.

I hope you enjoyed this week's 'Stash Buster'

Stash Busting Saturday - Saying Hey

Hi everyone, just a quick and easy card for this week's 'Stash Buster' project.  I have used the Dandy Designs 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper and the Saying Hey stamp set.

I only made 6 cards as I had some pieces of Designer Series Paper the I was able to use to create these cards, but if you are using a full sheet of Designer Series Paper that coordinates on the other side then you will get 8 cards with the strip leftover being used to decorate the inside of the cards.  So no paper scraps, yey!

To make these cards you will need:

Standard cardbase
Basic White mat 4.8cm x 13.8cm and 3.6cm x 13.8cm
Designer Series Paper 4.4cm x 13.4cm and 3.2cm x 13.4cm
Basic White Square 7cm x 7cm
Balmy Blue Square 6.4cm x 6.4cm
Basic White Square 5.8cm x 5.8cm

The sentiment was stamped using Black Memento ink and Balmy Blue ink.  I did some doodling around the edge of the square with a fine artliner black pen.  It just gave a perfect finish to the sentiment panel.

I added some Glossy Dots that have retired, but I am using up my stash, lol.

I hope you enjoyed this week's project.
