Abstract Beauty Suite

Hi everyone, sharing a set of cards I made using the Abstract Beauty Suite of products in particular the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack.

I created nine cards designs, making 2 of each card.

These cards use the Abstract Beauty Cards & Envelopes.  I also created a frame using the Beautiful Shapes Dies and stamping the edge with one of the images from the Hello Beautiful stamp set.

The Abstract Beauty Cards & Envelopes make a great starting point to create a great card.  The background is already done, all you have to do is add the elements that you want.

The Basic White Hexagon was stamped using one of the images from the Hello Beautiful stamp set using Magenta Madness ink which was stamped off once.

For the sentiment I only inked part of the stamp using a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.

I made several of the frames using the dies and stamps to add some extra elements to the cards.  I also added some gold leaves punched using the Bough Punch.

For the sentiment on these cards I only inked up part of the stamp, as I only wanted the word 'Hello' as my sentiment.

The card uses one of the elements from the Ephemera Pack, I added some gold leaves punch from Gold Foil Sheet using the Bough Punch.  A Vellum banner was also added behind the leaves.

The next few cards use the Abstract Beauty 6" x 4" Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack along with elements from the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack.

There is a terrific colour range in the Abstruct Beauty 6" X 4" Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack.

For the final two cards, I used the Abstract Beauty Cards & Envelopes for the card bases.

Hope you enjoyed these projects using the Abstract Beauty Suite of products.

Pattern Party Designer Series Paper Scraps - Dwellingup Project 4

Hi everyone, sharing another of my cards from my Dwellingup crafting getaway.

This is another of the projects I made using my scraps from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper pack.

I used the Hello Beautiful stamp set and the Beautiful Shapes Dies for this card.  Did you notice the Adhesive Backed Hexagons embellishments on the card?  These come in a pack of 90 pieces with 3 colours and 3 sizes.

Hope you enjoyed this scrappy card.

Using 6" x 4" (10.2cm x 15.2cm) Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack

Hi everyone, sharing another cutting layout using the 6' x 4" (15.2cm x 10.2cm) Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack.  I have also used the coordinating Hello Beautiful Stamp Set and the Beautiful Shapes Dies on these cards.

You will get two cards using this cutting layout.  I have only given the instructions below for one of the cards, just repeat to get your two cards.

Cut the 6"x 4" (15.2cm x 10.2cm) piece of patterned paper into 1" x 4" (2.5cm x 10.2cm) strips.  You will get 6 strips.

Cut a cardstock mat 4 1/8" x 3" (10.6cm x 7.5cm) and adhere two of the strips in place, one at the top and one at the bottom and then adhere this to the card front.  See picture below.

Cut a cardstock mat at 1 1/8" x 4 3/4" (3cm x 12.2cm).  Cut one of the 1" x 4" (2.5cm x 10.2 cm) strips at 1 1/2" (3.8cm) you will now have a piece 1" x 1 1/2" (2.5cm x 3.8cm) and another piece 1" x 2 1/2" (2.5cm x 6.4cm).  Adhere these two pieces either end of the 1 1/8" x 4 3/4" (3cm x 12.2cm) cardstock mat and adhere to the card front.  See picture below.

You can now decorate with a sentiment panel, ribbons and other embellishments to cover the gap on the middle strip.  You would never know that this card was made with paper strips.  This would also be a great way to use up those left over pieces that always seem to appear after a crafting session.

Hope you enjoyed this project.
