Beautiful Bunch

Just a quick post today of a card I made last week while on holidays.  I started back to work on Monday after two weeks off over the Christmas and New Year period so I have not had a lot of time to play in my craft room (working seriously cramps my stamping time).

The new Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper is so pretty and I have used one of the sheets to make a one sheet wonder.  I have never done this before and it was a bit of a challenge to design the cards and cut the paper to get the most out of it.  I managed to get 12 cards with a colour scheme of Pool Party and Whisper White.

I am sharing one of the cards that I made using the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder on the background and a flower that I made using the stamp sets Beautiful Bunch, Flower Shop and Petite Petals.  The flower images were stamped on Whisper White using Versamark and Silver Embossed.  The petals were then coloured using Pool Party ink and an Aquapainter.  Once the flowers had dried I punched them out with the matching punches.   The petals were shaped using a bone folder and then layered together with dimensionals.  An Iced Rhinestone was added for the flower centre.

Close up of the flower, it finished the card perfectly.

Thank you for visiting

Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peaks...

Hi everyone, I have been playing this afternoon with some of the products available in the new Holiday Catalogue from 1 September 2015.

My first project is using the new Silver Corded Trim and the stamp set Cozy Christmas.  The DSP is from Merry Moments which is available in the Annual Catalogue.  I have used several packs of this DSP but found that I was left with several sheets of the same design.  So I set about designing a little Baker's Box for Christmas, using the DSP sheets that I have a collection of.    I have also used the Baker's Box Thinlits Dies, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White Cardstock, Cherry Cobbler Thick Bakers Twine, Silver Foil Sheets and the Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.

My second project is using the Curvy Corner Trio Punch and Gold Corded Trim from the new Holiday Catalogue. The other items that I have used are all available in the Annual Catalogue - stamp sets Kinda Eclectic, Flower Shop, Petite Petals and Beautiful Bunch along with the coordinating punches Fun Flower, Petite Petals and Pansy, Pearls, Metallics Sequin Assortment and reinkers Chocolate Chip, Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake. The centre panel is on Very Vanilla cardstock.

Celebrate

This is my card that I have made for the challenge this week at The Deconstructed Sketch using this terrific sketch by Jen.
Deconstructed Sketch No. 164
For my card I have used the Flower Pot DSP with cardstock Lost Lagoon, Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Mossy Meadow, and Night of Navy.  The flowers are from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set with the leaves punch using the Bird Builder punch.  The sentiment is from the Good Greetings stamp set.
