Anything Goes Class Project

Hi everyone, sharing one of the projects that the ladies made at my 'Anything Goes Class' held last Sunday.

I used the Cut and Shuffle technique for these cards.  I cut 4 strips of patterned paper from the Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper Pack into 11.8cm x 30.5cm strips.  I then cut these strips into 7.5cm x 11.8cm pieces.  These were then cut into a strip 4.1cm x 11.8cm & the other strip is 3.4cm x 7.5cm.  These two strips were then cut at 5.1cm, this leaves the balance of the strip being 6.7cm.  So you will have four pieces measuring 4.1cm x 6.7cm, 4.1cm x 5.1cm, 3.4cm x 6.7cm and 3.4cm x 5.1cm after all this cutting.

You just need to shuffle the Designer Series Paper around so you have 4 of each combination, 16 cards in all.  These pieces were adhered to a Basic Black cardstock mat cut at 8.5cm x 12.8cm and this was then adhered to the Crushed Curry card base.

The flag end banner across the card was die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.  This die cut was cut in half so it could be stretched across the card. The gap in the middle is covered up by the sentiment panel.

The sentiment panel was die cut using the Nested Essential Dies.  I have used the Legendary Ride and matching dies to create my sentiment and focal point.  Adhere this piece to the card front using dimensionals and add some Brushed Metallic Dots to finish the card.

Anything Goes Class Project

Stash Busting Saturday - Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, it is time for another 'Stash Busting' show and tell.  

For this week's Stash Buster I have selected the Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.  I took 3 sheets of the patterned paper and cut them into 3.8cm x 7.5cm pieces.  The Basic White cardstock mat is 8cm x 12.3cm.  You will get 32 cards using this cutting guide.

The sketch I have used is Mojo Monday #444.

For the sentiment panel I have used the new Unbounded Love and Unbounded Love Dies which are available in May when the new catalogue is launched.

Stash Busting Saturday - Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, it is time for another 'Stash Busting Saturday' show and tell. 

I selected the Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper for this week's Stash Buster.  I made 12 cards using two sheets of 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.  I cut the flowers from one sheet and cut the other sheet into the patterned paper for the background. The stamp set I used is Go To Greetings.

The leaves we die cut using Basic White cardstock and the new Stippled Roses Dies.  

It is not just Designer Series Paper that I am trying to use in my Stash Busting Saturday designs, but also ribbon and other embellishments.  I seem to gather these quicker than I use them, lol.

Stash Busting Saturday - Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone, sharing one of the projects from the August card class.  

This card uses the Wanted to Say dies and the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper.  I cased the idea of changing the orientation of the striped pattern from several cards I saw on Pinterest.  I cut the pieces 1 1/2" x 3" each with the mats cut at 1 5/8" x 3 1/8".  I design of the card is my creation, and I thought that it went perfectly with the Designer Series Paper.
