Celebrate with Tags Bundle

Hi everyone, sharing a card I made using the Celebrate with Tags Bundle and the Celebrating You stamp set.

I embossed one side of the card using the Strips and Splatters 3D Embossing Folder before adding a piece of Parakeet Party Designer Series Paper to the other side with a small strip of Basic Black cardstock.

The sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set was stamped using Black Memento ink before being coloured with Dark and Light Parakeet Party Stampin' Blends.  You can get a gradual colour from light to dark using the Stampin' Blends.  The sentiment was then die cut using the Deckled Rectangles Dies.

The ballon image from the Celebrate With Tags stamp set was stamped using Parakeet Party ink and Black Memento ink and then die cut.  The ballons were layered together and a Parakeet Party Metallic Ribbon was added to finish the ballon cluster.  Some Rhinestones were added to finish the card.

I love this colour combination of Basic Black, Parakeet Party and Basic White.

Celebrate with Tags Bundle

Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, sharing two cards I made using the Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The cards are the same, just a different colour for the card base and mat.

I was wanting to use up the strips of Designer Series Paper left in the paper pack from other projects.  These drive me crazy but I cannot make myself bin them.  I do try to make cards without having scraps left over but sometimes you cannot avoid it. 

I used the Celebrate With Tags stamp set and the coordinating Celebrations Tag Dies to create the tag and snowflakes.

Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Series Paper

1st Project from October 2022 Class

Hi everyone, sharing one of the projects from Ocober's Class.  It uses the Celebrate With Tags stamp set and the Celebrations Tags Dies.

I have used a colour scheme of Bermuda Bay, Basic White and Starry Sky.  This card layout is a great way to use Designer Series Paper.  

I loved this card so much I made 39 in various colour combinations for my swap at yesterday's Onstage event held here in Perth.

The other colour combinations I made were Gray Granite and Orchid Oasis, Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet, Gray Granite and Merry Merlot.  

I coloured the candles with Stampin' Blends to match the colour combinations on the card.

1st Project from October 2022 Class

Just Add Ink #610 - Inspiration

Hi everyone, I am playing along this week with the challenge at Just Add Ink.  It has been awhile since I have played along with this challenge and as soon as I saw the inspiration picture with all the balloons I immediately wanted to get creating.

The challenge this week is to create a project using the picture for inspiration.

I immediately thought of the Celebrate With Tags stamp set and the maching Celebrations Tag Dies to create this fun birthday card with all the balloons.  I do not think I have even made a tag with the bundle yet, it is so great for making cards.

I have used the colours of Fresh Freesia, Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink, Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide to stamp all the balloons on a Thick Basic White Cardstock base.   The sentiment was white heat embossed on a piece of Basic Black Cardstock and die cut using the label die in the Celebrations Tag Dies,  The Polished Pink flag end banner behind the sentiment was cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

Just Add Ink #610 - Inspiration

Zig Zag Birthday

Hi everyone, sharing one of the cards I have been creating in the last few weeks.  I know that I have not posted any projects in the last month, however I was creating and preparing kits for a fundraiser that I held yesterday for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  I will be posting the projects from the fundraiser over the next two weeks.

This card uses the Basic Border Dies and also a new bundle from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalogue called Celebrate with Tags.

The Zig Zag strips were created by cutting 12cm x 1.5cm strips of Designer Series Paper from the 2022-2023 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments.  I used the colours of Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party.  I also cut two strips of Basic Black Cardstock, one at 12cm x 1.5cm and the other at 12cm x 2cm. 

To create the Zig Zag strip, line up the Zig Zag die on the top edge and die cut.  Then line up the die on the bottom edge and die cut.  

The balloons and sentiment are from the Celebrate With Tags Bundle in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalogue.  I have stamped the ballons in Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party before die cutting them.  The sentiment was stamped using Black Memento ink and die cut using the one of the label dies in the Celebrations Tag Dies which is part of the bundle.

This is a fun way to use the Basic Border Dies.  Hope you enjoyed this project.
