Tuesday Challenge #5

Hi everyone, it is the 5th week of my 'Tuesday Challenge' to use a stamp set and other goodies from the Annual Catalogue to create a card or other project.

I have used the 'Touches of Texture' stamp set for the flower image and the sentiment is from the 'Itty Bitty Greetings' stamp set.

The image was coloured using ink pads and a blender pen.  The blender pen gives a great colour contrast on the petals as the more you colour the lighter the colour becomes.  It is a quick and fun way to colour your images.

Tuesday Challenge #4

Hi everyone, it is the 4th week of my 'Tuesday Challenge' to use a stamp set and other goodies from the Annual Catalogue to create a card or other project.

I have been playing around with the Lots of Happy Card Kit working out some alternative cards using the goodies in the kit.  I will be posting some more of my creations over the next week or so.

These card kits make card making so easy, they come with everything that you need.   You can make up the cards as designed or you can change things up a bit and create a card of your own design, just let your imagination go for it.

Tuesday Challenge #3

Hi everyone, it is the 3rd week of my 'Tuesday Challenge' to use a stamp set and other goodies from the Annual Catalogue to create a card or other project.

I will confess that I cheated slightly this week and used the Gears and Cogs die from the Garage Gears Thinlits dies and the Rectangle Stitched Framelits from the Occasions Catalogue.   It just needed something behind the centre panel and the Gears and Cogs were perfect.

The stamp set is 'One Wild Ride' and the Cherry Cobbler striped pattern paper is from the Regals Designer Series Paper Pack.

The card base is Crumb Cake and I stamped the gravel image over the card front using Crumb Cake ink before adding all my layers.  I put a strip of Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler card stock behind the Designer Series Paper before I adhere this to the card front.

The centre panel was cut using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits, the Whisper White rectangle one size smaller than the Basic Black rectangle.

I love the colour scheme of Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black and Whisper White, especially for masculine cards.

Tuesday Challenge #2

Hi everyone, how quickly does a week go by these days.  It seems to be as I get older the quicker they go.

It is week 2 of my 'Tuesday Challenge' to use a stamp set and other goodies from the Annual Catalogue to create a card or other project.

The stamp set this week is 'Bubble Over' and I have also used the coordinating Bottles & Bubbles Framelits dies.  The Designer Series Paper is from the Neutrals paper stack and I have also used some of the Gold Foil Sheet for a thin strip next to the Soft Suede Designer Series Paper and also for the bottle tops.

Tuesday's Challenge #1

Hi everyone, are you like me and get all excited about the new catalogues and all the new stamps, paper, dies and embellishments we get to play with?

What I have noticed is that with all this excitement about the 'new stuff' that I tend to forget about the gorgeous stamp sets, paper, dies and embellishments that are in the Annual Catalogue. So I have set myself a challenge, I have called it 'Tuesday's Challenge', to use a stamp set and other goodies from the Annual Catalogue to create a card or other project each week.

This is my first project using the Best Bunny stamp set and the Bunny Builder punch.  I cased the Bunny Element from the Annual Catalogue, just changed up the design of the card.

I also used Brusho (these had gone off my radar completely), Gold Mini Sequin Trim and Metallics Sequin Assortment.
