Mango Botanicals

Hi everyone, sharing two cards I made using the Botanical Prints Product Medley and one of my favourite colours Mango Melody.

The Botanical Prints Product Medley has sold out and is on the retiring list so it is no longer available to purchase.  I wanted to share a few projects made using these products just in case you are lucky enough to have them in your stash.

There are a lot of new Project Kits and another great Product Medley kit in the new catalogue available 3 June 2020 so make sure you keep a look out for these.

For this card I stamped the card base with one of the images from the Botanical Prints stamp set using Mango Melody ink.  I love the tone on tone finish that this creates.

The centre panel is a leftover scrap of one of the laser cut pieces which I backed onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock.  It certainly made it pop on the page.  The other elements on the card all came in the kit, I just used a different sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set for my sentiment.

This card is very quick and easy to make.  The Designer Series Paper is 6cm wide, it was a left over piece from another project so I just trimmed the length to fit the card front and matted in on to a piece of Basic Black cardstock before adhering to the card front.  All the other elements on the card all came in the kit.  The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips stamp set as I wanted to make some birthday cards for the cards I sell at work for our Cancer Council Relay for Life Team's fundraising efforts.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mum's out there.  I got to see my Mum today at the Nursing Home, I was only allowed to visit for one hour but it was such a blessing that I got to see my Mum on this special day.

This is the card that I made for my Mum using the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper, the Ornate Layers Dies, Leaf Punch, Medium Daisy Punch, Daisy Lane and the Timeless Tulips stamp set.  I certainly used a smorgasbord of products.  Mum loved the finished card saying how pretty it looked.

The Best Dressed Designer Series Paper and the Leaf Punch are retiring at the end of May 2020 so do not miss out on these great products.

Say it with a Tulip ...

Hi everyone, sharing a set of cards I made using the Timeless Tulips stamp set.

The Designer Series Paper is from the Botanical Prints Product Medley paper stack which I have teamed up with a colour scheme of Basic Black, Lovely Lipstick and Whisper White.  I love this colour combination, so striking.

The Timeless Tulip stamp set has a coordinating punch which makes card creating so easy.  I stamped the images on the Whisper White piece using Lovely Lipstick and Granny Apple Green, I then stamped the large Tulip on a scrap of Whisper White and punched it out before adhering to the card with dimensionals.

The cards have the same Tulip flower and colour scheme.  I just changed things up with the card sketches that I used.

The gorgeous Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon was tied into a bow and adhered to the cards using glue dots.  The ribbon bow finished the cards of perfectly.

A few Rhinestones were added for the little bit of bling.

As it is Mother's Day this coming Sunday I made several Mother's Day Cards along with some Birthday Cards to add to the card stash at work for our Cancer Council Relay for Life Team Fundraising efforts.

Just Add Ink Challenge #500 - Just Add a Die Cut Word

Hi everyone, I am playing along this week with the challenge at Just Add Ink - 'Just Add a Die Cut Word'.

I have used the 'A Wish for Everything' stamp set and the 'Word Wishes Dies' to cut the word Happy.  I layered 3 die cuts together to give more dimension to the die cut.

The Tulip flowers were made by stamping the large Tulip image from the 'Timeless Tulips' stamp set with Terracotta Tile ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the Tulip Builder Punch.

The other flowers were made by stamping the flower image from the 'Floral Essence' twice of one flower using Petal Pink ink  on Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the Perennial Flower Punch.  The two pieces were layered together to form one flower and a Gold Faceted Gem was added for the flower centre.

The leaves were stamped on Old Olive cardstock using Old Olive ink.  The leaf images were from the same stamp sets and punched out using the Tulip Builder Punch and the Leaf Punch.  A few Gold Glimmer Paper Sprigs were added for a little bit of bling along with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

The background was embossed using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.

Thank you for visiting.
