Hi everyone, sharing another project using the Most Wonderful Time Project Medley. This card uses some of the Deer stickers from the Sticker Sheets in the kit.
Before cutting the Designer Series Paper have a think about the best way to cut your paper so that the pieces that are left you can use on other projects and you can bet the best use of your paper.
The first cut I made on the piece of 15.2cm x 15.2cm Designer Series Paper was 10.5cm x 15.2cm with the strips going vertical. I then cut this piece into 6 pieces 10.5cm x 1.8cm. You will get 4 cards using these cutting dimensions. You will also have a strip 15.2cm x 4.7cm that you can use for another project or use to decorate the inside of your cards.
I added two strips of Basic Black cardstock 0.5cm x 10.5cm between the Designer Series Paper and the Whisper White centre panel.
The sentiment panel I made by doing an Old Olive water wash on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and once dry stamped the sentiment using Black Memento ink. This was then punched out using the Classic Label Punch.
For the Deer stickers I pulled them off the backing sheet and then wiped the Embossing Buddy over the back of the stickers. This took off the sticky background as I wanted to use Dimensionals to raise them up on my card front.
The background trees were stamped using Mossy Meadow and Old Olive ink, using 1st and 2nd generation stamping.
