Affectionately Yours Designer Series Washi Tape

Hi everyone, I have been on a mission to use my Washi Tape.  I have quite an extensive collection happening, and even though it looks pretty all lined up in the drawer where I keep it, it looks even prettier on a card.

It is great to use as an accent behind flowers and as an embellishment on your card.  It can also be used to decorate the inside of the card by adding a strip to the bottom of the card insert.

This card uses the Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape and the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I love the copper accents in this paper.  The stamp set use is Love and Affection, the images were fussy cut.   Colour scheme of Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

Affectionately Yours Designer Series Washi Tape

Love & Affection Washi Tape

Hi everyone, this is the 5th project that the ladies made at the fundraiser for Type 1 Junior Diabetes Research last weekend.   I often get asked how to use Washi Tape when making cards so I designed this card to use two strips of Washi Tape across the card front (you could use two strips of patterned paper instead).

The Love and Affection stamp set was used to create this card.  The flowers were stamped with Watermelon Wonder, the leaves with Cucumber Crush and the filler foliage with Sahara Sand on Whisper White cardstock and then fussy cut.

A small silver metallic doily and some silver metallic thread were added behind the flower arrangement with some rhinestones added to finish the card.

Love & Affection Washi Tape

Love & Affection

Hi everyone, a clean and fresh look for my card today.

I stamped the images from the "Love & Affection" stamp set using Watermelon Wonder for the flowers, Cucumber Crush for the leaves and Sahara Sand for the filler foliage.  I fussy cut the images and arranged them with Silver Metallic thread on a piece of Whisper White cardstock 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" matted onto a piece of Sahara Sand designer series paper 3" x 3".  This was mounted onto the Whisper White card front which was on a Sahara Sand cardbase.  The sentiment is from the "Build a Birthday" stamp set which was stamped with Basic Black Archival ink.  Rhinestones were added to finish the card.
