Rocklea Road Box

Hi everyone, sharing a little Christmas box I made to fit a 60g bar of Darrell Lea Rocklea Road Chocolate.

I used the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper with Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla cardstock along with the Labels to Love stamp set, Everyday Label Punch, Triple Banner Punch, Sprig Punch and Striped Burlap Trim.  Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Ink pads were used for the stamping.

To make the box you will need the following:

Measurements

Cherry Cobbler cardstock 8 ¼” x 5”
Cherry Cobbler cardstock 7 ¾” x 5 ¼”
Christmas DSP – 2 pieces 5” x 1 5/16”
                            1 piece 5” x 1 13/16”
                            1 piece 5” x ¼”
Gold Foil Sheet 5 ¼” x 1"
Striped Burlap Trim
Mossy Meadow cardstock for Sprigs
Very Vanilla cardstock for Christmas panel
1/2" Cherry Cobbler Circle
Brad

Technique

Score the 8 ¼” x 5” piece of cardstock at 1 ½” in all four sides.  Create a basic box base.

Score the 7 ¾ x 5 ¼ piece of cardstock on the long edge at 1 9/16”, 3 5/8”, 5 316” and 7 ¼” – This piece is the box cover and it wraps around the box base.

Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the box cover, add a brad and then adhere the cover to the box.

Decorate the lid of the box.

Christmas Wine Sleeves

Need some great packaging to jazz up a bottle of wine this Christmas?

I posted in 2015 the link by Linda Parker on how to make these wine sleeves, you can find it here.

Again I have cased the bow arrangement from the Holiday Catalogue, told you I loved it!

The wine sleeves use a piece of 12" x 12" cardstock which you cut down following the instructions.  I have used Smoky Slate as I found I had a lot of this colour and it went great with the colour scheme of the Basic Black and Whisper White with a touch of Old Olive and Real Red.

Altered Alphabet Letter

I found these wooden letters for $2.00 each at my local Red Dot Store.  A bit of paint, paper and decoration and you have a gorgeous Christmas decoration.

The first letter I painted with a dark green acrylic paint and then covered the front with a piece of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper.  I cased the ribbon arrangement from the Holiday Catalogue.  I love this arrangement and the use of the gorgeous Striped Ribbon, the ribbon has wire in it so holds the shape that you bend it into.  A Green Sprig and a Mini Ornament finish the letter.

The second letter I painted with red acrylic paint and covered with a piece of the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The arrangement on this letter was made using the Pretty Pines Thinlits.
