The challenge this week at The Paper Players is based on this great sketch by
Jaydee.
I have used a colour scheme of Primrose Petals and Whisper White with a touch of Always Artichoke in the leaves.
The rolled roses were made using the 2 3/8" and 1 3/4" scallop circle punches. The leaves were made using the 1 3/8" circle punch, this is the first time I tried this and I was really pleased at the result and how easy it was. I have been trying out different techniques and uses for the punches in my tool kit.
The butterflies were made by embossing a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Fancy Fan embossing folder and then puching them out using the Elegant Butterfly punch. Pearls were added to the centre of the butterflies.
I also used the Lattice Bigz die, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, the Word Window Punch and the Modern Label Punch on my card.
