Being the end of the financial year and as I work in the Finance Department of our local municipality I have been a bit busy this week to do any card making. I have been having withdrawal symptoms big time. I had a good fix yesterday morning when I got together with my friennds at our Copic Colouring Group. We had a hilarious time, laughed ourselves silly and we managed to make 5 cards. What a great stress reliever at the end of the working week.
The contest this week at
Mojo Monday is based on the following sketch:
I made the small flowers a couple of weeks ago when I was playing with the Floral Fusion Die, seeing what flowers I could make with it. I had some left in my stash and the sketch was just perfect for a little group of flowers on the oval shape. The leaves behind the flowers were punched using the Blossom Petals Builder punch, folded in half and put the the crimper on the diagonal to create the veins on the leaves.

Your card caught my eye as I was checking out the competition at Mojo Monday - I love it. Your flowers are beautiful, I love that butterfly and what a genious way to use your crimper
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning card! Love those neutrals together. I can relate to your end of year woes. I also work in finance and we've just had our year end as well. Busy, busy!
