Simply Stars

Hi everyone, I would like to share with you the card that I made for the challenge at The Paper Players this week based on the colours of Real Red, Whisper White and Night of Navy.

I have used the "Simply Stars" stamp set for the stars that I fussy cut and the sentiment is from the "Sassy Salutations" stamp set.    DSP is from the "Polka Dot Parade" paper pack and the "Regals" paper stack.

Retro Sketches #113

For the challenge this week at Retro Sketches I have used the Retro Fresh DSP (how apt) and the stamp sets Simply Stars and Bring on the Cake.  The filmstrip is from the On Film Framelits die set.

Hardwood Background

Don't you just love the new "Hardwood" stamp.  I have stamped it with Early Espresso on Crumb Cake for the background, stamped the stars in Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake on Naturals White cardstock and then cut them out.  The card base is Chocolate Chip and the DSP is Crumb Cake from the Neutrals Paper Stack.   The tag was made using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch from the new Occasions Catalogue.

The challenge this week at the Deconstructed Sketch is based on this great sketch by Amber Hight.

 

For my card I have used the DSP Eastern Elegance with a colour scheme of Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry and Whisper White.  Stamps sets used are "Simply Stars" and Fabulous Phrases.
