Plentiful Plants

Hi everyone, sharing some cards I have made using the Calypso Coral and Petal Pink sheets of patterned paper from the Subtles 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment.  I had 4 sheets of the Calypso Coral and 2 sheets of Petal Pink with some small scraps left in the paper pack.

I decided to cut the Calypso Coral sheets into 12.3cm x 5.1cm pieces.  You will get 3 pieces from each sheet.  I then cut the 2 sheets of Petal Pink into 12.3cm x 2.5cm piece.  You get 6 strips from each sheet.  I had enough pieces to make 12 cards.  I matted the patterned paper onto Early Espresson mats cut at 12.8cm x 5.5cm and 12.8cm x 2.9cm. 

The card fronts were embossed before adhering the matted pattern paper to the card fronts.  I decided to make 6 cards using the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and the Dragonflies punch.  

The other 6 cards were made using the Nature's Harvest and the Harvest Dies.

Remember I mentioned I had some small scraps left in the paper pack and I also created some strips 2.9cm x 15.2cm when I was cutting the patterned paper for my cards.  I cut these into 2.9cm x 5cm pieces and created 2 cards using the Plentiful Plants stamp set and Perfect Plants dies.

Bloom Where You're Planted

Hi everyone, I have been having some fun the last couple of weeks playing with the Bloom Were You're Planted Suite of products making these 9 cards.

I fussy cut the plants and pots, using die cuts where they matched the image.   This did take a little while but once I have them already to go creating was very easy.  I just had to work out the card layout and what sentiments to use.  I made multiples of the cards and I still have a lot of the fussy cut plants and pots and the Designer Series Paper left to make more cards. 

Card 1

Basic White card base with the brick Designer Series Paper cut at 14.9cm x 5.2cm and 14.9cm x 2.5cm.  A full piece of Paper Lattice was used on this card.  The tag was White Heat Embossed on a piece of Cajun Craze.

Card 2

The card base is Cinnamon Cider, the mat is Evening Evergreen cut at 13.8cm x 9.5cm and the Basic White cardstock piece is cut at 13.3cm x 9cm.  The Basic White piece was die cut using the Stitched Greenery die.  I love the leaf detail that is cut into the cardstock with this die.

The brick Designer Series Paper piece is cut at 5cm x 7.2cm and the green foliage Designer Series Paper piece is cut at 2.5cm x 11.2cm.  The piece of Paper Lattice is cut at 6.5cm x 6.5cm.

Card 3

Cinnamon Cider card base which was die cut using the Stitched Greenery die.

The sentiment is stamped using Evening Evergreen ink on a Basic White cardstock piece cut at 2cm x 9.5cm with the Evening Evergreen mat cut at 2.4cm x 9.9cm.  

This is a very simple card but I really like the simplicity of it.

Card 4

I made a Basic White version and a Cinnamon Cider version of this card.  I die cut the card fronts using the Stitched Greenery die.

The brick Designer Series Paper piece is cut at 5cm x 7.2cm.  The piece of Paper Lattice is cut at 6.5cm x 6.5cm.

Card 5

The card base is Gray Granite.

The green foliage Designer Series Paper is cut at 10.2cm x 7.6cm and the Basic White mat is cut at 10.7cm x 8.1cm, the brick Designer Series Paper is cut at 10.2cm x 5cm with the Basic White mat is 10.7cm x 5.5cm.

Card 6

The card base is Gray Granite with the Designer Series Paper cut at 7.5cm x 11.8cm with a Basic White mat cut at 8cm x 12.3cm.

Card 7

Basic White card base which was die cut using the Stitched Greenery die.

The brick Designer Series Paper piece is cut at 5cm x 7.2cm and the green foliage Designer Series Paper piece is cut at 2.5cm x 8.8cm.  The piece of Paper Lattice is cut at 6.5cm x 6.5cm.

Card 8

Just Jade card base, Evening Evergreen mat cut at 13.8cm x 9.5cm with a Basic White cardstock piece cut at 13.3cm x 9cm.  The Basic White cardstock piece was die cut using the Stitched Greenery die.

The Paper Lattice was cut at 6.5cm x 6.5cm.

Card 9 

The card base is Gray Granite with the Designer Series Paper cut at 7.5cm x 11.8cm with an Evening Evergreen mat cut at 8cm x 12.3cm
