Christmas Gift Bag

Hi everyone, sharing a Christmas Gift Bag that fits a 130g tin of Walkers Shortbread Biscuits.  Perfect for a little gift giving.

The bag is made of a piece of 12" x 12" piece of cardstock and was made using the Wishes and Wonder stamp set and the matching North Pole Wonder Dies.  The Designer Series Paper is from the Heartwarming Hugs paper pack.

Measurements

12" x 12" Real Red cardstock
Green Dotted Designer Series Paper 4" x 12"
Striped Dotted Designer Series Paper 2" x 12"
Whisper White cardstock for tag, mistletoe, sleigh and sentiment circle
Gold Foil Sheet for reindeer and sentiment circle

Technique

1.    Score the 12" x 12" piece of cardstock on one edge at 2 1/4" and 9 3/4".  Score the other edge at 2 1/4" x 5 3/4", 8" and 11 1/2".  At 7" score the two side pieces as per the diagram below. On these side sections measure 1" up from the 7" score line and place a small dot at the centre (this should be at 1 1/8"), then find the centre of the top of the side sections.  Score in a straight line from the top of the side sections to where you have placed the mark 1" inch up from the 7" score line.  From this mark score on the diagonal on both sides to the corners of where the 7" line score mark meets the long side score line.  You are creating the upside down Y that will form where the sides of the bag fold in.

2.    Cut as per the diagram below and fold into making the bag and adhere together.  Round the corners of the flap that folds down.  Attach two sets of Velcro Dots to the flap so that it keeps the bag closed.

3.    Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the bottom half of the bag.

4.    Die cut the tag, reindeer and gold foil sheet fluted circle.

5.    Stamp the sentiment in Black Memento ink and die cut using the circle die.  Adhere to this to the Gold Foil Sheet fluted circle.

6.   Stamp the sleigh using Black Memento ink on Whisper White cardstock and colour using the Dark Real Red Stampin' Blend. Die cut.

7.    Stamp two of the Mistletoe image using Black Memento ink on Whisper White cardstock and colour using the Dark and Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends.  Die cut.

8.    Create the tag using all the elements.

9.    Tie the two pieces of ribbon together to create a bow and attach to the tag using Glue Dots.

10.   Attach the tag to the flap of the bag.

Stamp Camp Table Favours

Hi everyone, sharing one of the table favours I made for a recent Stamp Camp.  We are so fortunate here in Western Australia that we can gather together for these little events.

This was made using the Nothing's Better Than Bundle, North Pole Wonder Dies, Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.

This little package held 2 Robert Timm's Coffee Bags, 2 Tim Tams and 2 biscuits (these were all individually packaged).  Just a few snacks to keep everyone going through the day.

Holly, Jolly Everything

Hi everyone, sharing one of the cards from yesterday's class using the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set.

These little Gnomes are rather cute and perfect for making a tag that you can use either on a card like this or to attach to a present.  The Gnomes were coloured using Stampin' Blends before fussy cutting and adhere to the card front using Dimensionals.

The Designer Series Paper is from the Heartwarming Hugs paper pack which has the traditional Christmas red, green and white colour scheme.

The tag I cut from Whisper White cardstock using the North Pole Wonder Dies.
