Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack

Hi everyone, sharing the last of my cards (for now) using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack and other products from the Come Sail Away Suite.

For this card I stamped the background strip with the anchors using Soft Suede ink as I wanted to keep the colour scheme as monochromatic as I could.  I added a little bit of black as it just makes everything pop.

The centre panel is one of the cards from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack which I matted onto Basic Black cardstock.  The boats and lighthouse were stamped using Soft Suede ink and then a blender pen was used to colour the image, picking up the colour from the stamped image.  These were die cut along with a few other elements and arranged on the centre panel along with a piece of Copper Trim which I teased apart.

The sentiment is from the sticker sheet and again I matted this onto a piece of Soft Suede cardstock.  Matting these stickers onto the cardstock gives them more stability.  Did you notice the couple of pieces of Vellum die cut sea grass tucked behind the centre panel?

Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack

Hi everyone, sharing one more of my cards made using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack.

This is the card I made using the other half of the laser cut specialty card and one of the cards from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack.   I used the same layout and pieces as the first card, just a different centre panel.

I stamp the birds next to the lighthouse using Night of Navy ink before adding the die cut elements and the sentiment which is from the sticker sheet in the pack.  This was matted onto a piece of Night of Navy cardstock before being adhered in place using dimensionals.

After I had mounted this onto a Sahara Sand cardbase I wished I had put in on a Seaside Spray cardbase.  The finished card looks okay but I think it would have been better on the light blue cardbase.

Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack

Hi everyone, sharing another of the cards I made using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack.

I really liked this Happy Father's Day card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack.  I matched it with the Mossy Meadow patterned paper from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper and a Mossy Meadow card base.  This combination was rather a little to much green for me so I added some Whipser White and Crumb Cake cardstock and a few die cut elements and a trinket to mix it up a bit.

Hope you are not tired of me posting these cards made using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack as I have two more to share in the next couple of days.

Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack

Hi everyone, sharing another card made using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack and the Come Sail Away Suite.

You know the great thing about these Memories & More Card Packs is that you get two of the cards in each pack, so if you really like one of the cards you can make two of them.  One to give away and a spare.

This card was one of the quickest I made, using the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, Night of Navy cardbase and one of the Memories & More Cards.  The sentiment is from one of the stick sheets which I matted onto Night of Navy cardstock before adhering to the card front using dimensionals.

Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack

Hi everyone, sharing another card made using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack and products from the Come Sail Away Suite.

I love using this Suite of products, the stamp set has some great sentiments and the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack have several sticker sheets with some great sentiments and other elements.

This card was a quick make, with the only stamping being the compass and the birds.  I cut the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack in half lengthwise and trimmed the end to fit the size of the card.  I added a few die cut elements, and some Copper Trim which I teased apart to make it look like a fishing net.

The sentiment is from the sticker sheet which I matted onto a piece of Soft Suede cardstock before adhering to the card front. Did you notice the long strip of rope on the edge of the striped card, this is from the sticker sheet also.

Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack

Hi everyone, sharing another card I made using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack and products from the Come Sail Away Suite.

As soon as I saw this Ahoy Card I immediately thought of adding a sailing boat and a few die cut elements and trinkets.

The bottom background section is one of the laser cut speciality cards that I have cut in half.  I used the other half on another card, using the same card sketch which I will post next week.  This was adhered to the Basic Gray card base.

I have added a strip of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper on top of the laser cut piece and also a Basic Black die cut rope strip.

The centre panel is one of the Come Sail Away Memories & More Cards which I matted onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock before adhering to the card front using Dimensionals.

The die cut elements are a sailing boat (stamped with Black Memento ink), vellum sea grass and a ships wheel with the finishing touch a ships anchor from the Sail Away Trinket.

Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack

Hands up if you have been guilty of purchasing the Memories & More Card Packs, using a few of the cards and then the remainder just sit in your stash.  I will admit that I am a serial offender, so I decided on Sunday to have a little play and see what cards I could make using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack.  I also used the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, the Sailing Home stamp set and the Smooth Sailing dies.

This is the first card I made using one of the Come Sail Away Memories & More Cards.  I trimmed it down to the card front size and added a strip of  Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper at the top.  I saved the wording from the Memories & More card and cut it down to size , matted it onto a piece of Night of Navy cardstock to use on my card as the sentiment.

I created a banner using strips of cardstock that I flagged the ends of  before adding some of the stickers from the sticker sheet in the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack.

The boats are from the Sailing Home stamp set which I stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Night of Navy ink.  I then coloured these using a Blender Pen picking up the colour from the stamp image.  These were then die cut and adhered to the card front using Mini Dimensionals.

Over the next couple of weeks I will be posting more cards using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack and the products from the Come Sail Away Suite.
