#simplestamping

Hi everyone, sharing a #simplestamping project made using the Forever Fern Stamp set.

I used Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sea Foam, Mossy Meadow and Perfect Peacock to stamp the leaf images and the small filler dots on a Whisper White Notecard.  I also stamped the back flap of the envelope to match.

Thank you for visiting.

#simplestamping

Hi everyone, sharing my #simplestamping card for March.

The #simplestamping challenge for March is
  • Theme: Wedding/Baby/Funeral (choose one)
  • Supplies: Stamps, ink and paper
  • Bonus Material/Tool: Ribbon

I have used the Beauty Abounds and the Itty Bitty Greetins stamp sets with a colour scheme of Cajun Craze, Basic Black and Whisper White.

My ribbon is the Whisper White Baker's Twine which I tied in a double bow.

Having made my #simplestamping card I decided to make a card for an Occasional Stamper and also one for the Avid Stamper.

An Occasional Stamper will have a few supplies but no Bigshot and dies or Punches.  So for my card I used a strip of Designer Series Paper, stamped the images on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and layered this onto a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on a thin strip of Whisper White and then cut this to size and added popped this up with dimensionals.  Same card as the #simplestamping card with just a few layers and patterned paper which steps it up slightly.

For the Avid Stamper (who like me just has to have everything).  They will have a Bigshot, dies, punches, Designer Series Paper and embellishments.

This card is exactly the same as the one for the Occasional Stamper with the only difference being that I have cut the centre panel and the Cajun Craze mat using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits dies.  The sentiment I stamped on a piece of Whisper White and punched out using the Classic Label punch.  A few pearls where added to finish.

#simplestamping

Hi everyone, sharing another #simplestamping card.  I actually enjoying the challenge to do #simplestamping, I am a girl that likes lots of layers and embellishments so this challenges me to get back to the basics.  These cards are very quick to stamp which is also a bonus, and when you use the Stampin' Up! Notecards and Envelopes it is even quicker, no cutting cardstock up for a card base.

The #simplestamping challenge for February is

  • Theme: Birthday
  • Supplies: Stamps, ink and paper
  • Bonus Material/Tool: You may add a layer of Designer Series Paper
I have used the Beautiful You stamp set and ink colours Balmy Blue and Memento Black.  I add a strip of Designer Series Paper on the edge of my card front as my layer of Designer Series Paper.

#simplestamping

Hi everyone, hope you all had a Merry Christmas.  I am sharing another #simplestamping card. This card would be great for a beginner stamper, with the layers being created just by stamping.

The stamp set is Sea of Textures, I love this stamp set with all the imagery especially the Octopus.  It does come with coordinating dies, but I left these in the cupboard out of temptations way.

I stamped the Fish Net image twice on the Note Card using Crumb Cake.  I then stamped the Sea Grass image using Soft Sea Foam, 1st & 2nd generation stamping.  The Octopus was then stamped with Night of Navy.  The sentiment was also stamped with Night of Navy.

#simplestamping

Hi everyone, I am sharing a card I made for the challenge given to us at the recent OnStage event to make a Thank You card using simple stamping that would be ideal for a beginner stamper.  We had to use:

  1 Stamp Set - Check
Ink (I used 3 as no number defined) - Check
  Note Card - Check
Products from the Annual Catalogue only - Check

Easy you would think, but I am a girl that likes layers and embellishments, so this was a lot harder than I thought it would be.

I decided on the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set as this has a lot of variety in the sentiments and the flowers and stems that can be stamped.

I stamped the leaf image using Old Olive ink and then added the flowers using Calypso Coral.  I used the stamping off technique for the lighter shaded flowers.  What a great way to add contrast in the colours of your flowers using the one ink pad and at the same time showing this easy technique.  The accents to the flowers were stamped using Momento Black which I also used for the 'Thank You'.

I added some Clear Rhinestones to finish my card as I think a beginner stamper would love to add a bit of bling to their card.

I will be sharing a card tomorrow that has this card stepped up slightly which would be great for the occasional stamper.
