Stash Busting Saturday - Bright & Beautiful 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, I am still working through my packs of Bright & Beautiful 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, so for this week's Stash Buster I have used the Freshly Made Sketches #666 and 4 sheets of the Designer Series Paper.  I made 8 mini slimline cards that measure 6" x 3", so you get 4 card bases from a piece of 12" x 12" cardstock.

I cut four 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" squares which left a 6" x 1" strip and a 5" x 1" strip from each piece of Designer Series Paper. 

From the squares I die cut the circles.  These were adhered to the Basic White mat cut at 5 1/2" x 2 1/2".

Happy Birthday was die cut using the Wanted to Say Dies.  I embellished the card front with some Silver trim and Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems.

To use the strips of Designer Series Paper I cut these down to 2" x 1" strips and adhered them to a Basic White mat cut at 5 1/2" x 2 1/2".

To embellish I added some Silver Trim from my stash and some Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems along with the die cut Happy Birthday.

I did have 4 small 1" x 1" squares left which I was quite happy to put in the compost bin.
