Stash Busting Saturday - Zoo Crew 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, it is time for another 'Stash Busting Saturday' show and tell.

For this week's Stash Buster I have chosen the Zoo Crew 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.  I have been having difficulty in using this Designer Series Paper as I have not been thrilled with anything that I have designed. I found the inspiration and card layouts for these cards at Inge Groot's website here.  

I ended up cutting out the images on one of the sheets of patterned paper and colouring them with Stampin' Blends if they needed it.  I also coloured one of the sheets with Stampin' Write Markers to add some more colour to the patterned paper which I have used as the background layer.

The stamp set and dies are Zany Zoo.  This is a bundle that you can get for 10% Bundle Saving in the current Annual Catalogue.

I created 4 very similar card designs and I made multiples of each, using up the images from the patterned paper.  The small off cuts I punched out circles and also cut small strips to use on the cards.
