Hi everyone, sharing one of the projects from February's Card Class.
This card uses the Softly Stippled 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper which was one of the free items in the recent Sale-A-Bration promotion. This paper is no longer available but you an adapt any Designer Series Paper to creat this card. The stamp set and dies I used are from the Stippled Roses Bundle and the Thoughtful Expression Bundle available in the current January-April 2024 Mini Catalogue.
It is a Book Binding "Z" Fold card. The inspiration for this card came firstly from Robyn Armbrecht from Really Robyn Stamps. Robyn got her inspiration from Julie Beltramo and you can see her card here.
I changed the measurements up slightly to fit a metric conversion and the A4 cardstock that we use in Australia. I also liked how Robyn offset the front panel to be on the left side more.
The metric mearsures to make this card are:
Card base 29.7cm x 10.5cm - Score this at 6.3cm, 11.8cm and 14.85cm.
Cardstock for centre panel 8cm x 10.5cm (this is the same colour as your card base)
Cardstock for left side mat 2.5cm x 10cm
Cardstock for card inside 11.3cm x 10cm
Cardstock for front panel mat 7.5cm x 10cm
Designer Series Paper 2cm x 9.5cm (left hand side of card)
Designer Series Paper 5cm x 9.5cm (right hand side of inside of card)
Designer Series Paper 7cm x 9.5cm (centre panel)
You will also need cardstock for stamping and die cutting.
