Hi everyone, sharing another project from my October Class. This is a Gift Card Holder and it is made using the Joy of Christmas 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, the Brightest Glow Stamp set and the coordinating Labels Aglow Dies.
Card Base - Real Red Cardstock 14.85cm x 10.5cm
Mat - Basic White Cardstock 14.3cm x 10cm (for card base)
Designer Series Paper - 14cm x 9.7cm (for card base)
Centre Fold Panel - Real Red Cardstock 25.5cm x 12.8cm
Mat - Basic White Cardstock 12.3cm x 8.2cm (for centre panel front)
Designer Series Paper - 12cm x 7.9cm (for centre panel front)
Message Panel - Basic White Cardstock 12.3cm x 8.2cm (middle panel)
Mat - 12.3cm x 5cm (for Gift Card Holder panel)
Designer Series Paper - 12cm x 4.7cm (for Gift Card Holder panel)
Basic White Cardstock 5cm x 15cm for stamping
Technique
1. Score the 25.5cm x 12.8cm piece of Real Red Cardstock on the long edge at 8.5cm x 17cm. Fold starting with a valley fold and then a mountain fold. Burnish these fold lines thoroughly.
2. Adhere the 14cm x 9.7cm piece of Designer Series Paper to the 14.3cm x 10cm Basic White Cardstock mat and then adhere to the piece of 14.85cm x 10.5cm Real Red Cardstock. This is the card base.
3. Adhere the 12cm x 7.9cm piece of Designer Series Paper for the centre panel front to the 12.3cm x 8.2cm Basic White Cardstock mat and adhere to the centre fold panel front.
4. Stamp the sentiment on the 12.3cm x 8.2cm Basic White Cardstock Message Panel and adhere in place (this is the middle panel).
5. Adhere the piece of 12cm x 4.7cm Designer Series Paper to the 12.3cm x 5cm Basic White Cardstock mat. Punch a small notch using a Circle Punch in the middle of the top of this piece. Put adhesive on the very edge of the two short sides and the bottom only and adhere in place of the last panel (this is the Gift Card Holder panel)
6. Adhere the completed Centre Fold Panel piece to the card base.
7. Stamp the 'Merry Christmas' using Real Red ink on the piece of Basic White Cardstock and die cut. Adhere to the Centre Panel Fold front using Dimensionals.
8. Add a ribbon bow and some gold sequins to finish the front of the panel.
9. Stamp the Holly image using Black Memento Ink and colour using Old Olive light and dark Stampin' Blends. Stamp the Berry image usng Real Red ink and die cut. Adhere to the bottom right corner of the Gift Card Holer panel.
