Share a Milkshake

Hi everyone, sharing one of the projects from my January card class using the Share a Milkshake bundle from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalogue.


I used a Crumb Cake card base and then layered another piece of Crumb Cake cardstock over this that had been embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

2 pieces of Sweet Sorbet patterned paper from the Country Gingham 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper pack cut at 2.5cm x 12.8cm were layered onto Basic White cardstock mats cut at 2.9cm x 13.2cm.  These were then adhered to the card front.

I cut a scalloped rectangle using the middle die from the Scalloped Rectangle Dies which was then adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.  

I stamped the glass with the milkshake using Crum Cake and Soft Suede ink.  Stamped the straw using Crumb Cake ink, the sentiment using Soft Suede ink and the 3 cream layers using Sweet Sorbet ink doing 3 generation stamping to get the 3 shades of colour.  These were then die cut and layered together and adhere to the scalloped rectangle.

The hearts were die cut from Sweet Sorbet and Blushing Bride cardstock and adhered to the card front and the card inside.
