Carolyn King: Timeless Greetings

Hi everyone, sharing some cards I made with the additional pieces from the Timeless Greetings Kit. I also wanted to see what I could create using the stamp set. I created some Embellishment Clusters (I have loved creating these) for the cards, these are all the same however I did created some different backgrounds.

For my first project I created a background using Matte Finish Embossing Paste and the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks. I created an Embellishment Cluster by using 1cm wide strips of Early Espresso and Mint Macaron Cardstock, a piece of Cajun Craze Designer Series Paper from the He's The Man Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack and a Gold Metallic Rectangle made using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The other elements are from the Timeless Greetings Kit. Some Linen Thread was added behind the Embellishment Cluster and 3 of the Adhesive Back Studs from the Timeless Greetings Kit to finish the card.

For these next 4 cards I used the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder. For two of the backgrounds I inked the embossing folder with Early Espresso and embossed of Crumb Cake cardstock, I did one side of he embossing folder and then the other side. This create two quite different backgrounds. For the other two backgrounds I embossed Crumb Cade cardstock and dragged the ink pad over the embossed piece. I did a front side and a back side, again creating two quite different backgrounds.

I also created some additional elements using the stamp set and the Stitched Shapes Dies. To create the clocks I stamped the clock using Soft Suede ink and also on top of this I stamped the large circle from the Watercolor Shapes stamp set. I then die cut the clock using the circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.
