Hi everyone, Day 3 of the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper projects.
I have teamed the Sending Smiles Bundle with the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper for this card.
This card is very simple to make, no die cutting involved. If you wanted to scale it up you could stamp and die cut the flower on the centre square, but I elected to keep this to some simple stamping.
The sentiment was stamped on a strip of Poppy Parade cardstock with the end cut on an angle to give a little definition to the sentiment strip. A tip for this sentiment panel is that I used card scraps behind it to raise it up instead of Dimensionals. These would have just gone in the bin so I used them up instead of wasting them.
I love the pretty look of this card and I even stamped the envelope to match.
Again I have made several of these cards which I will be donating to the Nursing Home.

ReplyDeleteThe dimensions are striped/hatched DSP 3.8cm x 12.8cm with the mat cut at 4.1cm x 13.1cm, floral DSP 5.2cm x 10.1cm with the mat cut at 5.5cm x 10.4cm and the square is cut at 6cm x 6cm with the mat cut at 6.3cm x 6.3cm.
