Just Add Ink #580 - Just Add a Colour Combo

Hi everyone, I am playing along again this week with the Just Add Ink Challenge - Just Add a Colour Combo.


The colour challenge is to use Blushing Bride, Evening Evergreen and Gold.  The Poinsettia Flowers are the Blushing Bride, the patterned paper and cardstock mats as well as the stamped leaves are the Evening Evergreen (I love this colour) and the Gold is in the flower centres, Gold Trim bow and the Gold heat embossed sentiment.
Did you know that Poinsettias come in different colours?  I did not until I did a bit of research and found that they come in various colours, including pink.  This helped me decide on what stamp set I was going to use as I was wanting to make a Christmas card.

I am currently making Christmas cards for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) fundraising efforts at a Christmas Market to be held next week.  I was really please how this card turned out so I will be making a few more of these for JDRF.  Thank you JAI for the inspiration as I would not have used this colour combination normally, but I really love the finished effect.

I support JDRF as my Great Niece, Harper, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 18 months.  Harper is now a bubbly and gorgeous 8 year old (can you tell how much I love this kid) bringing a lot of joy and love to our family.

The stamp set I used is Merriest Moments with the matching Merriest Frames Dies.  The patterned paper is from the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper pack.  I also embossed the card base with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder.

    Carolyn this is absolutely gorgeous. Such a pretty and elegant way to use our challenge colours. I think these cards are sure to sell out and help raise much needed funding for JDRF. Thanks for joining in with us at Just Add Ink this week.
