Christmas Gnome Box

Hi everyone, sharing a little box made using the Celebration Label Dies, Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper and the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set.  I just love these little Gnomes in the stamp set.

This little box holds two Raffaello Chocolates.

To make this project you will need.

Measurements

5 3/4" x 8" piece of Real Red cardstock for the box inside

Real Red cardstock for the box top and bottom (this needs to be large enough to fit the 3rd smallest die in the Celebration Labels Dies

2 pieces striped Designer Series Paper 1" x 2"

2 pieces striped Designer Series Paper 1" x 3"

1 piece of Designer Series Paper for the box top to fit the 2nd smallest die in the Celebration Labels Dies

Gold Foil Sheet 4 3/4" x 1" punched each end with the Triple Banner Punch

Whisper White cardstock for die cutting the sentiment panel for the box lid to fit the smallest die in the Celebration Labels Dies

Scrap of Whisper White cardstock for stamping the Gnome

Technique

1.    Score the 5 3/4" x 8" piece of cardstock on the 8" edge at 1 1/4", 3 1/2", 4 3/4" and 7".  Score on the 5 3/4" edge at 1 1/4" and 4 1/2".

2.    Cut as per the diagram below and fold into making the box and adhere together.  Round the corners of the flap that inserts on the box lid.  Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the box sides.

3.    Die cut the two large Real Red Celebration Label pieces for the top and bottom of the box.  Adhere to the box.

4.    Die cut the 2nd smallest Celebration Label piece from the Designer Series Paper for the box lid and adhere in place.

5.    Punch the ends of strip of Gold Foil Sheet to flag the ends.  Adhere to the box lid.

6.    Stamp the Holly, Jolly Everything sentiment on a piece of Whisper White cardstock using Black Memento ink and die cut.  Adhere to the box lid using Dimensionals.

7.    Stamp the Gnome on the piece of Whisper White cardstock using Black Memento ink and colour using Stampin' Blends.  Fussy cut and adhere to the box lid using Dimensionals.  Add a few Wonderful Gems to finish the box lid.
