Deck the Halls

Need to make a few quick Christmas Cards? This card was made using the 'Merry Little Christmas' designer series paper and the 'Carols of Christmas' stamp set.

To make this card you will need the following pieces :

Measurements

A4 Whisper White Thick cardstock cut in half to create the card base
Basic Black cardstock 14.3cm x 10cm
Old Olive/Whisper White DSP 13.8cm x 9.5cm
Basic Black cardstock 14.3cm x 6.5cm
Black/White Snowflake DSP 14.3cm x 6cm
Basic Black cardstock 6cm x 10.5cm
Old Olive/White Dot DSP 5.5cm x 20cm
Whisper White cardstock 8.5cm x 8.5cm for 'Deck the Halls'
Basic Black cardstock 8.5cm x 8.5cm for scalloped circle

Technique

Fold card base.

Adhere the Old Olive/White striped DSP to the Basic Black 14.3cm x 10cm mat.

Adhere the Black/White Snowflake DSP to the Basic Black 14.3cm x 6.5cm mat.

Adhere the Old Olive/White Dot DSP to the Basic Black 6cm x 10.5cm mat.

Layer the pieces together as per the picture.

Stamp the image 'Deck the Halls' using Black Archival Ink and cut out using a circle die from the Layering Circles Framelits.  Cut a scalloped edged circle from the 9.5cm x 9.5cm piece of Basic Black cardstock using the Layering Circles Framelits. Layer these two pieces together.

Using Old Olive and Real Red Stampin' Write Markers colour the Holly image and stamp on to a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.  Cut out using the matching die from the 'Card Front Builder Thinlits'.  Adhere this to the circle piece and then using dimensionals adhere to the card front.  Add some black rhinestones to finish.
