A touch of Black

A touch of Basic Black can make a project pop.

I have used a colour scheme on this card of Peekaboo Peach, Copper, and Basic Black.  A bit of neutral has made a show with the Touches of Nature Elements, Corrugated Elements and Burlap Ribbon.

Seasonal Chums Cellophane Bag Goodies

A quick project using Be Merry Designer Series Paper and the 7.6cm x 15.2cm cellophane bags.

To make the project cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 7cm x 17.7cm.  Score on the long edge at 2.5cm, 7.5cm and 16cm.  Lightly burnish the scorelines.

Put the Designer Series Paper inside the cellophane bag, add chocolates (these I found at Aldi) and fold over the top of the bag then fold over again turning the top of the Designer Series Paper over.  Close with a gold binder clip and add a ribbon bow made using the Quilted Christmas Ribbon to the clip using glue dots.

Stamp the Santa tag image from the Seasonal Chums stamp set using Momento Ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  Colour using Stampin' Write Markers Real Red, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Basic Gray.  Cut out the tag using the Seasonal Tag Framelits Dies and add to the front of the bag holding in place using the biner clip.

Mini Pizza Boxes

What to do with the Mini Pizza Boxes?  Make a little set of 3" x 3" cards and you have a perfect little gift.  These would make great teacher gifts.

To decorate the Mini Pizza Box I made a sleeve that slips off quite easy.  The little Just a Note cards I have seen a couple of times on Pinterest and I am not sure who designed them, so sorry for not giving credit where it is due.  I loved them so much I cased them, then made the decoration for the sleeve of the box to match.

From one sheet of 12" x 12" cardstock you get eight 3" x 3" cards that fit in the small 3" x 3" envelopes in the Holiday Catalogue.

This is a quick and easy project to make with the images stamped using the Painted Harvest stamp set and the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set.

Christmas Wine Sleeves

Need some great packaging to jazz up a bottle of wine this Christmas?

I posted in 2015 the link by Linda Parker on how to make these wine sleeves, you can find it here.

Again I have cased the bow arrangement from the Holiday Catalogue, told you I loved it!

The wine sleeves use a piece of 12" x 12" cardstock which you cut down following the instructions.  I have used Smoky Slate as I found I had a lot of this colour and it went great with the colour scheme of the Basic Black and Whisper White with a touch of Old Olive and Real Red.

Christmas Stocking

The Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies make this gorgeous Christmas Stocking gift card holder, or you can pop some money in the little pouch instead.

There are numerous little dies in the set that enable you to decorate your stocking in numerous ways.  You can also use these pieces to decorate Christmas cards.  The die also makes a little pillow box.

Painted Autumn

This card is one I design to use the left over pieces from some previous projects.  I cut the floral image from the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper and layered this on a piece of Burlap Ribbon and another piece of the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper.

The card base is Tangerine Tango, a colour that I do not use a lot but it picked up the small dots of colour in the floral image and gave the card a great lift.

Altered Alphabet Letter

I found these wooden letters for $2.00 each at my local Red Dot Store.  A bit of paint, paper and decoration and you have a gorgeous Christmas decoration.

The first letter I painted with a dark green acrylic paint and then covered the front with a piece of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper.  I cased the ribbon arrangement from the Holiday Catalogue.  I love this arrangement and the use of the gorgeous Striped Ribbon, the ribbon has wire in it so holds the shape that you bend it into.  A Green Sprig and a Mini Ornament finish the letter.

The second letter I painted with red acrylic paint and covered with a piece of the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The arrangement on this letter was made using the Pretty Pines Thinlits.

Painted Harvest

I was on the look out for some little gifts for Christmas (or for any occasion actually) when I came across these little tubes of hand cream from the Body Shop.  I have designed a little gift box using the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper.  This gorgeous paper has a sheet with the daisy flowers and I cut one of these out for the decoration on the little box.

I made a matching card, which I ended up making as a birthday card as the gift box I made was not very Christmassy.  I acually did some stamping for the card using the Pained Harvest stamp set and the matching Leaf Punch.

The card and box make a lovely little gift.
