Have you ever had the problem when you wanted to use a special piece of paper in your design but no other paper or card stock seemed to work with it? I recently had this dilemma when I wanted to use the Soft Sky striped pattern from the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper. So what did I do to solve my problem, I stamped my own background patterned paper using an image from the Eastern Beauty stamp set and Soft Sky ink.
To make this card you need to the following pieces:
Measurements
A4 Soft Sky cardstock cut in half to create card base
Whisper White
cardstock 14.3cm x 10cm (for the inside)
Whisper White cardstock
14.4cm x 10.1cm
Copper Foil Sheet 14.1cm
x 9.8cm
Whisper White
cardstock 13.8cm x 9.5cm (for stamping)
Foil Frenzy DSP
10.1cm x 5cm
Scraps of Whisper White and Soft
Sky for the sentiment circle
Technique
Fold card base.
Stamp the 13.8cm x 9.5cm piece of
cardstock using Soft Sky ink and the image from the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set.
Cut out the Medallion from the
middle of the Copper Foil Sheet. The
remainder of the Copper Foil Sheet is the mat behind the stamped Whisper White
cardstock piece.
Adhere all the layers together
and then add the Soft Sky ribbon before adhering to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment onto a piece
of Whisper White cardstock and cut out using the Circle Stitched Shape framelit. Cut out a scalloped circle using the Layering
Circle Framelits. Layer together and
then adhere to the Copper Foil Medallion using dimensionals. Adhere the Copper Foil Medallion to the card front using dimensionals
For the inside of the card stamp
the bottom right corner with the image used on the card front and the Soft Sky
ink.
