Reason for the Season

Hi everyone, just sharing with you the little gift boxes I made using the Large Pillow Box Thinlits, stamp sets Reason for Season and Circle of Spring, Festive Flower Builder Punch along with the Tags & Labels Framelits dies.

After watching a Stampin' Up presentation by Katie on Youtube, I made the first box for a Christmas gift.  In the presentation Katie showed a flower that she had made to show how versatile the stamp set and punch were.  My second box was inspired by Katie's blue flower.

For my large pillow boxes I have used the exact same layout, just changing the theme from Christmas to Birthday and using different DSP.

I have used the Merry Moments DSP on this box with a colour scheme of Real Red. Mossy Meadow, Whisper White and Silver

On this box I used a colour scheme of Soft Sky, Whisper White and Silver.  I did create the flowers using Shimmery White as I misted the stamp images with water before I built the flower.

Just Swimming Around...

Hi everyone, just sharing a card that I made using the rock salt technique.  I had no idea what I was going to do with the background piece when I started playing with the technique but it reminded me so much of an underwater scene that turned it into a nautical themed card.

I used the stamp sets "By the Tide" and "From Land to Sea" along with the colours of Lost Lagoon, Island Indigo and Night of Navy.

Have a Beautiful Birthday

I had this piece of background I made recently using the diamond mask sheet from the Happy Patterns mask set and decided to use to make a card that I got inspiration for from a card made by Michelle Corlett that was published in a recent edition of the Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine.  It is not the exact same card, however I did get inspiration using the card layout and the some of the colour combination in the card.  I have used Mint Macaroon, Basic Black, Tip Top Taupe and Whisper White.

Just a Lighthouse

Hi everyone, sharing a card with you made using the "From Land to Sea" and "Traveler" stamps sets. I just had to have the "From Land to Sea" stamp set when I first spied it in the Annual Catalogue because of the lighthouse image, but have just been able to figure out how to incorporate the lighthouse into a card.

I got to playing around this afternoon using the reflection technique and the ship image from the "Traveler" stamp set and this is the result.

Just Prancing About...

Hi everyone, just sharing a quick Christmas card with you today.  I had a lot of left over fawn cut outs from when I made my Christmas Tags, using the Home for Christmas DSP. They have just been prancing about my craft table for the last week.  Anyway they met up with some Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla cardstock, and this is the final creation.
