Stash Busting Saturday - Ghost Stamping

Hi everyone, for this week's Stash Buster project I am using a technique called Ghost Stamping.  I am working my through my pack of 2024-2026 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment.  It is amazing how many cards you can get from one paper pack, lol.  I still have over 3/4 of a pack to go.

I made 6 cards using one sheet of Shy Shamrock patterned DSP from the pack.  

The stamp sets and dies I used are Unbounded Love and Textured Floral.

I cut the DSP into 2" x 3" pieces and matted these onto Shy Shamrock 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" cardstock and then matted these onto Basic White 2 1/5" x 3 1/5" cardstock.

The card base was stamped with the two floral images from the Textured Floral stamp set first using White Craft ink and after this had dried with Shy Shamrock ink, slightly offset to create the ghosting effect.

The sentiment is from the Unbounded Love stamp set and was stamped using Black Memento ink before die cutting using one of the dies from the Unbounded Love dies.

Some White ribbon and pearls were added to finish the cards.

Stash Busting Saturday - Sunny Days 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, sharing this week's 'Stash Busting' project.  I have made 6 cards using the Sunny Days 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper pack.  This pack is on the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack and is a great price at only $8.70 for the pack.

To made this card the Designer Series Paper for the background is cut at 14.85cm x 7cm,  You could use a piece of cardstock here if you wanted to save on Designer Series Paper. The flower pattern is 12.7cm x 5.1cm and the Pool Party diagonal stripe is 12.7cm x 2.5cm.  The Basic Black mats were cut 4mm larger.

The sentiment is from the Textured Floral stamp set and the circles were cut using the circles in the Stylish Shapes Dies.  The ribbon behind the sentiment circle is Iridescent Striped Trim.
