Sweet As A Peach Birthday

Hi everyone, sharing a card made using products from You're A Peach bundle.  I have been keeping to my New Year's promise to myself to use my stash of Patterned Paper and stop hoarding it.

The You're a Peach Designer Series Paper is just gorgeous and of course it matches perfectly with the Sweet as a Peach stamp set and the matching Peach Dies.

I have used a Crumb Cake card base and also white heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of Crumb Cake.  I like this contrast with the colours in the You're a Peach Designer Series Paper.

Hope you enjoyed this project.

Peachy Birthday - JDRF Card 2

Hi everyone, sharing another of the projects from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation fundraiser held last Saturday.

This card uses products from the You're a Peach Suite.  I love all the products in this Suite.

The patterned paper is from the You're A Peach Designer Series Paper Pack.  The striped Designer Series Paper was cut at 2.6cm x 10.1cm and was matted onto a piece of Early Espresso cardstock cut at 3cm x 10.5cm.  The Peach Pattern Designer Series Paper is cut at 12.6cm x 5.1cm and was matted onto a piece of Early Espresso cardstock cut at 13cm x 5.5cm.

The two circles were die cut using the Layering Circles Dies.  The Basic White circle was then embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

The stamp set used is the Sweet as a Peach and the dies are the match Peach Dies.  The leaf and stem image was stamped using Old Olive ink which was stamped off once and the peaches were stamped using Pale Papaya with some accents of Calypso Coral added using a Sponge Dauber before stamping.  These were then die cut using the matching dies.  These were then adhered to the card front on the circles using Dimensionals.

For the sentiment stamp the Happy Birthday using Versamark ink and white heat emboss on a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock cut at 1.5cm x 7cm.  One end of this piece was cut on the diagonal before adhering to the card front.

For the inside of the card a strip of the striped Designer Series Paper was cut at 9.5cm x 1cm and matted on to a piece of Early Espresso cardstock cut at 1.5cm x 9.5cm.  This was then adhered to a piece of Basic White cardstock cut at 9.5cm x 13.8cm which was then adhered to an Early Espresso mat cut at 10cm x 14.3cm.
