Quick and Easy Birthday Cards

Hi everyone, sharing some quick and easy birthday cards that I made for the Nursing Home that took care of my Mum before she passed last year.

I have used the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper Pack and the Happiness Abounds stamp set.

I made 20 cards using two of the sheets from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper Pack.  I cut the patterned paper into 11.8cm x 7.5cm pieces and matted these pieces on to Basic White Cardstock mats cut at 12.3cm x 8cm.  The sentiment strip is 2.2cm x 10cm.  I just used off cuts for these, great way to use up the leftovers from other projects.

The best way to cut the patterned paper is to cut two strips 11.8cm x 30.5cm and then cut these into 11.8cm x 7.5cm pieces you will have a strip left that measures 6.9cm x 30.5cm. Cut this piece into 6.9cm x 7cm and mat these onto Basic White Cardstock cut at 7.4cm x 7.5cm.

Close up of the finished cards.  I used card bases of Blushing Bride, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.  To add a little embellishment to the sentiment strip I used the Loose Flower Flourishes and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

This paper does all the work for you, it is so pretty.  All you need to do is add a sentment and some simple embellishments and you have a quick and easy card.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Hues of Happiness

Hi everyone, sharing one of the projects from yesterday's card class.  It uses the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper and the Art Galley stamp set.

The Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper is just gorgeous.  The Blooming Happiness Dies coordinate with this paper pack, where there are several images in the paper that the Dies cut out.

I love how this card turned out, it is so pretty.

Hope you enjoyed this project.
