Hi everyone, as promised this week I am bringing you 6 cards made using 2" x 3" pieces of Designer Series Paper. There are a lot a sketches that can be adapted to using the 2" x 3" pieces of Designer Series Paper.
I used 2 sheets of the Timeless Plaid 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. I cut the two sheets into 2" x 3" pieces and worked out how I could adapt these pieces to the sketches I have used. I do not know where a lot of these sketches originated, I just found card designs that I liked but they did not have any reference as to the sketch.
I decorated them the same elements from the Storybook Friends stamp set and dies and the Textured Notes Dies.
For the first card I cut the two pieces of 2" x 3" Designer Series Paper into 2" x 1 1/2" pieces. These I matted onto pieces of Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 2 1/8" x 1 5/8". These were adhered to the card front that was embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder.
For my second card I cut the 2" x 3" pieces into 1" x 3" strips and adhered thme to a piece of Basic White cut at 13.8cm x 9.5cm which was embossed using the Timber Embossing folder. This was adhered to a Crumb Cake cardbase.
The second card adheres the two 2" x 3" pieces of Designer Series Paper that have been adhered to a piece of Basic White cardstock cut at 8cm x 12.3cm and embossed with the Timber Embossing folder. This was then adhered to a 8.5cm x 12.8cm Crumb Cake mat which was then adhered to a 9.5cm x 13.8cm Basic White mat then adhered to the Crumb Cake cardbase.
For my fourth card I cut one of the pieces into 2" x 1 1/2" pieces and flagged the end of one of these pieces. These were then adhered to the backof the other 2" x 3" piece of Designer Series Paper before being adhered to the card front which had been embossed with the Timber Embossing folder. A Crumb Cake cardstock banner was cut at 3" x 3/4" and the Easter Greetings sentiment stamped using Early Espresso ink.
For the fifth card I cut one piece of 2" x 3" Designer Series Paper into two pieces, one measuring 1" x 2" and the other 2" x 2". These were adhered to the piece of Basic White cardstock cut at 9.5cm x 13.8cm and embossed with the Timber Embossing folder. The other piece of Designer Series Paper was adhered over the gap between the other two pieces of Designer Series Paper.
For the sixth card I cut one of the 2" x 3" pieces of Designer Series Paper into two pieces measuring 1" x 3". These were adhered to the cardbase which had been embossed with the Timber Embossing folder. The pieces of Designer Series Paper are slightly over lapping each other, adhere the other 2" x 3" piece in place and embellish.
I hope you enjoyed this week's Stash Buster.
