Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper Projects

Hi everyone, sharing some cards I made using left over pieces of the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper after cutting kits for my February Class.  I will share the card I made for class with you next Sunday, I cut 10 kits for class.

I used 2 each of the 3 pattern paper sheets in the paper pack, making 15 cards from the left over pieces.  So that is 25 cards from the 6 sheets of pattern paper.

I wanted to show my class participants that you can use the gorgeous Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper for other occasions.  I decided to use the Celebrating You stamp set, making the sentiment circles all the same on the cards.  This made my card making a lot easier.  The hearts are die cut using the Sweet Heart Dies.  I also used the Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon behind the sentiment circles.

A little bit of colouring with Real Red, Gorgeous Grape and Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Markers added the finishing touch to the sentiment circles along with a Rhinestone.

I made 3 of these cards.  A trick with using left over pieces is to remember that you do not need pattern paper behind the cardstock pieces and embellishments where you will not see it.  This is a great way of using the small strips and odd shaped pieces that you sometimes are left with.

I made 2 of these cards, the purple striped pattern paper is only 2.5cm wide.  This is all you need as the remainder of this section is hidden behind the centre panel.

I made 3 of these cards.  The Highland Heather patterned paper is 2 pieces cut at 2.5cm x 5.1cm.  These 2 pieces were adhered to the top and bottom of a Basic White mat 2.9cm x 7.8cm with the gap in the middle hidden behind the sentiment circle.

I made 3 of these cards.  This layout is great for those long strips.  I cut them at 2.5cm x 12.3cm  The Basic White mat is cut at 8.5cm x 12.8cm.

I only made one of these cards, this is the last card I made.  The heart patterned paper were small strips that were the perfect size to adhere to the sides of the Basic White mat behind the Highland Heather pattern paper centre panel.

I made 3 of these cards.  This layout is a favourite of mine.  The 4 pieces for each heart pattern paper panel were cut at 2.5cm x 5.1cm.  These 4 pieces were then adhered to the top and bottom of 2 Basic White mats cut at 2.9cm x 7.8cm.  The gap in the middle is hidden behind the centre strip.

Hope you enjoyed these projects showing you how to use the pieces left from other projects.
