Very Versailles

Hi everyone, sharing a card made using the Very Versailles stamp set.  I thought that I would use one of the stamp sets that was carried over from last year's Annual Catalogue.  With all the excitement with the new products, I sometimes forget to use these gorgeous stamps sets that I have in my stash.

I have gone with a monochromatic colour scheme of Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Whisper White with some Gold.

Tuesday Challenge #31

Hi everyone, sharing my project for this week's Tuesday Challenge.

I have gone a little on the 'Vintage' side for my card using the Very Versailles and Daisy Lane stamp sets.

I stamped the background using the images from the Very Versailles stamp set using Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Early Espresso inks.

I cut a frame using the Heirloom Frames Dies and 3D Embossing Folders. This is the first time that I have used these and I will admit that I embossed first and then cut but you need to do it the other way otherwise the embossing gets flattened when the frame is cut.

The daisy was stamped using Crumb Cake ink, I stamped 2 large and 1 small to make the flower that I punched out with the large and medium Daisy Punches.  For the centre of the flower I used one of the flowers from the Bird Ballet Trinkets.  I also added a little key from these Trinkets near the sentiment.

The leaves were created using the Leaf Punch and Crumb Cake cardstock.
