Tuesday Challenge #16

Hi everyone, I am a little late today in posting my card for my Tuesday Challenge to use a stamp set and other goodies from the Annual Catalogue to create a card or other project.

Today is the 1st day of the 2019/20 Annual Catalogue, so I have a lot of new products to choose from.  I have chosen products from one of most peoples favourite suite Magnolia Lane.

Using one of the Note Cards I stamped the background using the Artisan Textures stamp set and Petal Pink and Early Espresso ink.

On top of this stamping I adhered a strip of striped pattern paper from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper pack.  I did a little die cutting using the Magnolia Memory Dies, I also die cut the small Magnolia which I had stamped with Memento ink and coloured with Stampin' Blends.

The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and  was die cut using the Stitched Shaped Dies.

The green linen thread behind the arrangement is from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack.  A few pearls were added to finish the card.

You could make a set of these cards as a little gift.  There are various sentiments in the stamp set so you could change the sentiment on each card.  Perfect for a lot of occasions.

If you live in Australia
you can get all the supplies you need
for this project from me.

You can place an order online or Contact Me and place an order.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the gorgeous, beautiful and fantastic Mum's out there.

I am having lunch with my Mum today and then we are going to hang out together for the rest of the day.

It is not easy to think of presents for my Mum who is in a Nursing Home with Dementia and when I came across this photo of my Mum and Dad (that I just love by the way) I immediately though of a photo for her room.  Not just any old photo would do, I had to put the Stampin' Up! touch to it creating a scrapbook page that I framed in a 3D frame.   I used the gorgeous Magnolia Lane Suite (available in the new Annual Catalogue from 4 June),  that arrived on Thursday in my pre order, just in time for Mother's Day.

Please excuse the shadows in the picture.  I am a very amateur photographer and it did not matter how many lights I had I always had a shadow in the frame.  I have actually been thinking of doing a course in basic photography, I think this is something I would really enjoy and would certainly improve my photography skills.

Thank you for visiting.
