Best Dressed Designer Series Paper - Day 4

Hi everyone, sharing the project for Day 4 of the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper cards.

I made two of these cards from two sheets of the patterned paper.  You will have some left over dotted Old Olive paper for use on other projects.  The dotted Old Olive paper I cut at 4cm x 9.5cm.

The floral patterned paper I cut 2 pieces at 11.8cm x 7.5cm, this left enough to cut small strips to decorate the inside of the card.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set with the flowers from the Floral Essence stamp set.  I did 1st and 2nd generation stamping for the flowers using Lovely Lipstick ink to get the two shades of colour.

Hope you are enjoying these projects.

Time for a Little More Vintage ...

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and keeping safe.

I am sharing another of my vintage style projects made using the one sheet of Designer Series Paper from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I used the Floral Essence and the Label Me Bold stamp sets along with the Perennial Flower punch, the Small Bloom punch, Corrugated Embossing Folder, White Craft ink, Saddle Brown StazOn and Leaf Punch.

I swiped the White Craft ink pad over the piece of Crumb Cake cardstock after I had embossed it with the Corrugated Embossing Folder.  It gives a great contrast to the other elements on the card.

Just Add Ink Challenge #500 - Just Add a Die Cut Word

Hi everyone, I am playing along this week with the challenge at Just Add Ink - 'Just Add a Die Cut Word'.

I have used the 'A Wish for Everything' stamp set and the 'Word Wishes Dies' to cut the word Happy.  I layered 3 die cuts together to give more dimension to the die cut.

The Tulip flowers were made by stamping the large Tulip image from the 'Timeless Tulips' stamp set with Terracotta Tile ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the Tulip Builder Punch.

The other flowers were made by stamping the flower image from the 'Floral Essence' twice of one flower using Petal Pink ink  on Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the Perennial Flower Punch.  The two pieces were layered together to form one flower and a Gold Faceted Gem was added for the flower centre.

The leaves were stamped on Old Olive cardstock using Old Olive ink.  The leaf images were from the same stamp sets and punched out using the Tulip Builder Punch and the Leaf Punch.  A few Gold Glimmer Paper Sprigs were added for a little bit of bling along with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

The background was embossed using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.

Another Vintage Style Project...

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and keeping safe.

I am sharing another of my vintage style projects made using the one sheet of Designer Series Paper from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.

It is great to have a little gift and Thank you card ready for when you need them.  Just perfect to say a little thank you to someone.

This card sketch is one I have used many times before and it is terrific for using the smaller pieces of Designer Series Paper.  These pieces measure 3cm x 5.1cm each.

For the little gift packaging I have used one of the 7.6cm x 15.2cm Gusseted Cellophane Bags to which I have tied a tag I created using the die from the Bonanza Dies.  I tied the bag with the Crumb Cake Natures Twine.

Vintage Style ...

Tuesday Challenge #29

Hi everyone, sharing my project for this week's Tuesday Challenge.  This is a little challenge I set my self to make a project using products from the annual catalogue.

My card this week uses the 'Floral Essence' stamp set.  I stamped the flowers using Gorgeous Grape and Daffodil Delight ink.  The smaller flowers I stamped off once to get the lighter shade.  The leaves were stamped using Pear Pizzazz ink and punched out using the Leaf Punch.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and was stamped onto a Whisper White Stitched Nested Label before the flowers and leaves were added.

The gorgeous paper is from the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper pack.  I wrapped some Linen Thread around this piece before adhering it over the top of a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock using dimensionals.  This was then adhered to the Garden Green card base.

To finish the card I added the Linen Thread bow and some of the Glitter Enamel Dots.

Freshly Made Sketches #392

Hi everyone, I am playing along this week with the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.

I am using a new stamp set 'Floral Essence'.  There is a bit of fussy cutting involved in this card, but I really like the finished effect.

The small flowers I stamped using Merry Merlot and for the larger flower I used Rococo Rose.  For the larger flower I stamped the large flower image and also the small flower image, fussy cut them and then curved them a little with the bone folder before layering the small flower on top of the large flower to get the multi layered effect.

The leaves I stamped using Mint Macaron before punching them out with the Leaf Punch.

The background was stamped using the 'Crackle Paint' stamp set and Crumb Cake ink.  This was adhered to the Crumb Cake card base using dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the 'Floral Essence' stamp set, which I white heat embossed before cutting into 3 strips to match the sketch design.

Thank you for visiting.
