JDRF Fundraiser - Project 6

Hi everyone, sharing Project 6 from the recent Fundraiser that I held for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  This is a Gift Card Holder or Money Wallet with a little Note Card.

Cut a piece of Smoky Slate Cardstock at 15.2cm x 21.cm.  Score on the long edge at 8.5cm and 17cm. Fold and burnish the score lines for the Gift Card Holder.

Cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock at 7.5cm x 25.2cm.  Score on the long edge at 12.6cm.  Fold and burnish the score lines for the small Note Card.

Put Tear and Tape on the inside edges of the smallest flap for the Gift Card Holder, making sure to get as close as possible to the edge. This is the piece that folds up to create the pocket.  Fold up and adhere the sides down for form the pocket.

Adhere the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper cut at 15.2cm x 5cm to the Basic White Cardstock mat and adhere to the Gift Card Holder front.  For the inside cut a piece of Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper cut at 14.1cm x 3.5cm and adhere this to a Basic White Cardstock mat cut a 14.6cm x 4cm.  Adhere to the front of the pocket section on the inside of the Gift Card Holder.

Stamp the large flower and leaf image, the small flower image and the single leaf stem image using StazOn Black ink on a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock.  Colour using an Aqua Painter and the Soft Succulent and Petal Pink ink.  Die cut the coloured pieces once dry.  Also die cut 3 sets of the outline leaves from Smoky Slate Cardstock.

For the Gift Card Holder front layer the piece of Metallic Mesh Ribbon in place using some double sided tape, making sure to place the tape in the area that will be covered by the flower image.  Adhere the large coloured flower and leaf image in place using Dimensionals, making sure to keep the areas where you are going to tuck the other die cut leaf pieces into place free of any Dimensionals.

Stamp the ‘Happy Birthday’ on the strip of Basic White Cardstock and freehand cut into a slim sentiment strip.  Adhere in place.

For the inside make the small Note Card.  Stamp the splatter image using Smoky Slate ink on the right side of the Note Card front.  Adhere the colour small flower and leaf stem image in place.  Tuck the little Note Card into the pocket.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
