Hi everyone, sharing Project 3 from the Fundraiser I held for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation last weekend.
This card uses the Let's Set Sail stamp set, the Sailboat Builder Punch and Sun Print Designer Series Paper.
The Designer Series Paper is cut at:
7cm x 7.5cm (Gray Granite print)
7cm x 3.8cm (Night of Navy print)
Stamp the sentiment using Night of Navy ink on the Gray Granite print piece of Designer Series Paper before adhering both pieces of Designer Series Paper to the Night of Navy Cardstock mat that is cut at 7.5cm x 11.8cm. Adhere this to the Basic White Cardstock mat that is cut at 8.5cm x 12.8cm. Adhere to the card front.
Cut a strip of Pacific Point Cardstock 9.5cm x 2.5cm and adhere to the card front.
Stamp the sail boat using Night of Navy ink and Gray Granite ink and punch out using the Sailboat Builder Punch. Adhere the sail boat pieces to a piece of Window Sheet and then fussy cut. This makes it easier to adhere the sail boat to the circle piece using Dimensionals.
For the circle die cut this using the 2nd largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Stamp the water image using Pacific Point ink, you may have to stamp off to get a lighter shade. Stamp the birds using Gray Granite ink and adhere the sail boat in place. Adhere the circle element to the card front using Dimensionals.
Add two Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots either side of the circle element on the Pacific Point strip to finish the card.
I hope you enjoyed his project.

Carolyn, I love this pretty card. I have a friend who loves to sail and I think it will be perfect for his upcoming birthday. I like the idea of using a Window Sheet.
